I don't know much about what he's talking about, but here is my humble version of the translation:
After your normal preparation, make it a loop around both sides of the glass (glass fiber?) and pull (the wicks) together as far as possible toward the bottom. The benefits are presumably:
Screwing it together: The wicks don't get caught in the threads.
Capillary action: The wicks don't touch the glass; they soak in the liquid.
After you finish, double check the distance (from the side of the tank?).

Left few questions tho, (which make TOTALLY different ways of doing it.. and which part to do it ) but at least I have something to try now. But really thanks for your helpfullness.

If someone is more familiar with this technique, clarification wouldnt hurt tho. Or even a picture.
