Started getting tinnitus and pressure in my head when I vape.
Solution
1. Cut down the nicotine strength (down to 6mg for me)
2. Steep juices for 24 hours (which evaporates some of the alcohol that flavours are extracted with)
3. Change ejuice -not all are created equal especially when it comes to the flavours and how they are extracted.
4. Mine is not a PG issue as I suffer the same with organic VG -but try VG all the same.

rba'S SS Mesh
5. If you are using RBA's don't smoke through the burn in period on a new ss wick and coil (that horrid metally taste and harsh draw) Fire it off without vaping a bit. New wick and coil taste gets me ill quickly. I also dip my Kanthal in juice 3 times and burn it with a lighter before wrapping. Speeds up the burn in for me.
6. You can also try boiling SS mesh before you roll it. (15 mins on the boil) Seems to cut down the harsh burn in.
7. Less is more -most consistent vapour for me is with just 3-4 coil wraps -1.4 -1.8 Ohms 32 AWG at about 3.6-4.0 V That's on originals and clones.
8. For hot spots as well as jiggling, try dripping juice onto the hot spot and firing for a second or so -do this 2-3 times. usually works. Low voltage 3.0V is best for this.
9. Pyrex glass tanks have been a waste of money for me. Knock your PV over just once and say goodbye to 12-15 bucks.

Atomisers/Clearomisers
10. When I go out I always use a Vivi Nova tank -No leakage and consistent vaping after being in a pocket etc. RBA's at home or at my desk for me. I always have a backup Ego Mini with a CE4/5 somewhere about my person when I am out and about.
11. Ego Mini with a CE4/5 in airplane toilets and for any other stealth situations. Inhale and hold for 10 secs to reduce exhaled vapour.
12. Sorry to say it but for me clones vape as good if not better than my expensive originals as long as you spend the time to set them up.
13. The advantage of RBA's for me is better taste and more fun fiddling.
14. Tried DCT tanks -messy, horrible hissing sound, juice in the mouth and inconsistent vape. They went in the bin immediately. Novas for me especially the new STV Novas and the mini DID clone.

Misc
14. If you are a heavy vaper and work at a desk or on computers then invest in a pass-through. Saves on batteries and just looks way cool connected to a laptop etc.
15.Drip tips make a huge difference to the overall experience. Surprisingly my favourites are the clear plastic ones and the glow in the dark plastic. I have many now metal, stainless etc but those clear cheap plastic ones are just the right feel and draw for me. Don't underestimate the importance of the drip tip in a good vaping experience.

My Favourite juices

Swagger, Alberbery, Hazelnut Coffee, French Vanilla, Peach, Apple and Chocolate Banana. These are a few of my "favourite things".

Hope there might be something useful in there for people starting out or moving on up. :)

blowtorch the ss mesh a few times and then when you have wrapped a coil on it - drip juice on it as Colin says a few times and burn it off. Then it works fine from the start. I have been using wool wick (unbleached cotton that i have boiled) with an ss mesh on it for my RBAs and it's easier to manipulate in the tight space confines of an RBA.

Just wrap the ss onto the wool and then coil on top. It lasts well and wicks superbly. My current wick has seen everyday abuse for over 3 weeks now and still going strong. When it fails just reuse the mesh and use a new coil and new bit of wool.

I like the look of that AGA T as well. Discountvapers (Eric does a great job) is out of stock so I am trying to hunt them down elsewhere. The cobra clone is pretty good but the best vape is from the Griffin mini DID clone I have. Not very well built but with a bit of work it is absolutely brilliant for a mini. I am using #500 mesh from UK which is mega for wicks -once you get into SS wicks on RBAs it is tough to go back to silica.

The Evic with new firmware is also causing quite a stir -positively. All the money I save on cigs is being reinvested :)

Great post Colin. Just getting into RBAs myself, but I also use the Vivi novas when out and about. Just waiting for the AGA-T+ to arrive, and will start tinkering. Will be looking to do a SR coil to start with.
