Why are there Braille signs on the drive up ATM's?
On an office stairwell there was a big sign that said "Stairs" next to it was a braille sign saying the same thing...photocopied!

When we have power outages we listen to our battery operated radio. A message from the electric company comes on saying to check www. for the status of when power could be restored..................................really?? I have no power but I have internet??
There was a school for the deaf where our office used to be located and they had a horseshoe long drive - and the sign said "honk - deaf students" .....
There was a sign at a nursing home that sat on a lovely wooded lot - between some oaks they had a sign that said "Remember the Alzheimer's Walk + a particular date in the fall) - that sign stayed up for years....now you know that "walk" wasn't on the same date each year - they forgot to take it down! I would bust out laughing every time I passed it - then would feel bad - then would laugh again (after all it wasn't the residents of the facility that put up the sign and then forgot it- it was the employees)
