It would be good if there was some way to get the messages to fit the screen horizontally so that sideways scrolling wasn't necessary each line too.

I think that is what Klaue meant by re-sizing the image at the top. It is that image that is preventing the window from being narrowed by your browser.

Out of interest, what size is your monitor?

I'm not a computer whizz, but my hubby's computer is set like that also.
My laptop is set perfectly.

There's a way you can reset what/how much you can see on your screen.
Don't ask me how, but it's possible.

Hi, my screen is 17" but the resolution is set to 800x600 pixels and I think that might be the problem, the whole page can't be viewed sometimes with that resolution. I can't really make it any smaller because I can't see to read when it's smaller.

I can't read those little letters either but I bought reading glasses for about 10 bucks and that does the job!

800x600 screen res is probably your problem ... things must be HUGE !!!!

I run my dual 17" monitors at 1280x1024 pixels

I just can't see anything on that kind of resolution without practically sitting on top of the monitor, even with glasses.

hmmmm.... interesting.

i wear glasses/contacts as well (without them I'm blind as a bat) ... and I don't seem to have a problem.

Is it the glare or the refraction of the light hitting the small letters that you are having issues with, or can you just not see that small?

i wish i could help you out
