Why do you ask? I had lots of duct tape and a new mod, so chose to dress it up like an ice road trucker

We had a weekly show called "The Red Green Show", and every episode had him doing something fantastic with duct tape. Ever since then, Canadians and duct tape go hand in hand.
Ahh, I see. There was an episode of Mythbusters on Discovery that explained all the things you can do with duct tape. They built a working bridge with the stuff lol
They even rebuilt a car with it. But it also makes great wallets and custom cases. It's great stuff.
It's a GGTB, one of the best value mods on the planet.

Can I ask what the point of this MOD is? Is it just to prevent from getting scratches in your batt?
It looks like a way to keep from scratching up his GG. The GG is a really nice looking PV but I'd go nuts having to polish it and buff it out all the time to keep it looking pristine LOL.
The nickel and aluminium on the GG tarnishes and looks pretty crappy after a while. The case keeps it looking nice.
It's no different to sticking a wallet on a nice new iPhone. This wallet costs pennies to make though.
It also feels comfortable. These mods get cold overnight and are freezing to the first touch in the morning.

It was asked what the point of this mod is, Canadians (I am one) think duct tape looks awsome, you can keep your laser guided laser etched carbonium fiber holographic brushed titanium finishes...Canadian guys put duct tape on everything...cause chicks dig it.
I use duct tape for everything too. Its not just a guy thing. Women have been making purses and dresses out of it for years

I wish someone would make a duct tape cozy...I've been keeping a roll of duct tape in my schoolbag ever since 9th grade...that and a multi-tool, you never know what problems you'll run into in your day-to-day...wait!....I'll make the cozy out of duct tape!...idiot
