Note: Not sure if this goes here or in recipes.
So while experimenting with my DIY stuff I wanted to make a cereal flavor and try out Cinnamon Ceylon.
I took some look around the forums and not having Yellow Cake in my current collection here is what I came up with and am pleasantly surprised (enough to have gone through about 30ml) in the last 24 hours. The flavors are there...maybe even a little muted for my taste. Any suggestions for fixing that?
Cereal Base per 15ml:
1 drop FW Graham Cracker
3 drops FA Cookie
3 drops FA Meringue
3 drops FA Marshmallow
5 drops FA Vienna Cream
1 or 2 drops Sweetner
The Cinnamon Goodness:
3 to 4 drops FA Cinnamon Ceylon
3 drops FA Coconut
3 drops FA Lemon
Alternative 1:
Take out Coconut and Lemon..add 5 drops apple and it's a decent apple cinnamon cereal.
Alternative 2:
Take out Coconut ..bump up Lemon to 6 drops and add Lime Tahiti 4 drops for a fruity cereal.
Questions:
For the more initiated at Flavor Arts and DIY. Do these numbers look right?
I'm figuring 3 drops is equivalent to approx 1% in 15ml (doing some calculator magic)
I'd hate to mix up 120 ml of this and have it turn into soggy molded cereal in a few days.
Also will bumping up the meringue and marshmallow increase that sweet cereal coating flavor?
