Hey guys, lately it seems I've just been craving something more, and I vape all day constantly!! I vape and vape and vape and still feel like I'm craving something.. I started vaping about 7 months ago, been off cigarettes completely for 6 months.. I started at 16mg and that was good for me when I made the switch, but after a month or 2 I dropped down to 14mg/mL.. Than about 2 months ago, craving more flavor when I vape, I dropped most of my juices down to 12mg (everything I've used is 50/50 pg-vg).

At first I thought I was craving more vapor, more flavor, and a thicker vapor cloud.. I've been thinking this for a few months now, but now I'm thinking maybe I should raise my nic a tad, back to 14mg?? I feel like I'm craving more of a TH lately so raising my nicotine should be the obvious answer.. This is slightly disappointing though, because my plan was to slowly ween down to about 4-6mg, and than stay there (I'd still enjoy some nicotine lol)
... But I'm still craving the huge thick vapor clouds - I really need to start getting into rebuilding my Protank coils (I wanna try the MicroCoil!! Just got some 2mm Silica wick, now I need some coil..).. I'd also like to get into RBA's/RDA's eventually and sub-ohm coils (when I get a mech, I have an eVic now).. Maybe I should switch from the PT back to a top-coil clearo, the warmer vape from my T2's seemed to give more TH and sometimes more flavor, seemed more satisfying.

Thanks everyone! :p

I'd suggest you buy some of your favourite flavours in a higher nicotine. Of itself, nicotine is not a bad guy like tar CO2 and other chemicals in cigarettes. Start your day with the 16 mg or greater and finish your evening with the lower (so you can sleep better). There's no guilt in going back up on your nic. If you get too much of it, you'll get headachy and nauseous, with a higher heartrate. VG provides the clouds. Give yourself time to adjust. And if you prefer T2's then use them! I'm a big fan of them myself, they're still my favourite.

Thanks for the quick reply!! Yeah it seems like I have been craving cigarettes more lately, kind of out of nowhere.. Maybe because it's summer and I see everybody smoking outside a lot more, and I've been going out more lately?

I have been trying different juices lately also.. About a week ago I got my 1st order from MBV - I got Toasted Marshmallow to compare to my local juice company's (local store sells worldwide, very popular but can't mention here). It doesn't taste anything like Marshmallow but it's absolutely delicious!! Maybe my new ADV, it tastes like Hazelnut Cappuccino or something, very sweet and soo good! Got Cotton Candy also which didn't have much flavor at all, and 2 freebies I'm not a big fan of but the price is right!! First time I've tried a different company's juice

Any juice I've used has been 50/50 pg-vg, I have been curious to try more VG for bigger thicker vapor clouds, or more PG for more flavor/TH.. And I won't really feel guilty if I upped my nicotine level, it would probably be better for me if it keeps me from smoking. I'm pretty confident that I won't smoke a cig again though.

And the only reason I'm not still using T2's is for 1, they don't fit well on my eVic.. Unless using a 510-to-Ego adaptor, the draw is incredibly tight when screwed down, sometimes my eVic doesn't even recognize it. But with the adaptor, it's way airier than the T2 was on my Vision Spinner..

And for 2, my Protanks seem to function a lot better than the T2.. When it is working right!! Sometimes when I put a new coil on my PT, it seems to work good for only a day or so before flavor and vapor ammount drops off.. Another reason I really need to start rebuilding my own coils for it!! The T2 coil lasts soo much longer, and the T2 sometimes seems slightly more consistent

Thanks again guys! :D

If you get into re-building coils, once you've mastered silica, have a try at cotton. I did some Evods and novas today with cotton, the flavour is immense and much more vapour when done right. I also get a better nic hit from cotton.

I would raise it back up and see if you have more satisfaction. As noted, nic isn't really the bad guy. You could always reduce again. I'm happy at 24mg where I started off, have no plans on reducing yet. Don't see the need. Plus, it's kept me smoke free for 3 months tomorrow, so I'm happy with where I am!

Since I've been reading a lot about re-buidling coils and such lately (and really plan to rebuild my Protank coils very soon), I've been wondering about different wicking materials.. It seems that the main consensus is that cotton works best for the Protank and other devices, in terms of vapor amount, flavor and TH. Maybe I'll save my silica for a rainy day, and grab some cotton and Kanthal wire, and finally get to rebuilding for myself!!
EDIT: Just don't know which kind of cotton I should get - regular unscented Cotton Balls??
... I know that rebuilding my own coils will save some $$, but the main reason I want to do this is to increase performance of my PT!! :D

And yes, I know nicotine in itself really isn't that bad for you (about the same health effects as caffeine). Wouldn't feel too bad about raising it up a bit, thanks guys!

Thanks everyone. Ocelot, I've looked into this a bit but I'm not a big fan of tobacco-flavored juices (maybe just haven't tried a good one, haven't tried Bobas).. My favorites are sweet and savory desert/bakery flavors - marshmallow, chocolate, hazelnut, cotton candy

Hi there, I think you might be confusing WTA with NETs, and they aren't the same thing. I had great success with WTA,and they come in lots of flavors other than tobaccos. One of my faves is cinnamon roll. I haven't needed to use it for a couple of weeks, but it helped me get back on track and took care of the worst of the cravings. I highly recommend it for people who are having trouble keeping the cravings away.

the nicotine absorbed during vaping, is over a longer period of time versus smoking a cigarette. %90 percent of vapers out there will vape much longer a period of time in one session when compared to the 4 minutes used to smoke a cigarette.

nicotine from a cigarette takes 10-15 seconds to satisfy. the vapor inhaled isn't brought as deep into the lungs as actual smoke is as well. Just a different delivery system, even though the actions are the same.

I'm at 18mg, 30/70 blend and on cartomizers. If I feel an urge for more, I'll go up on the nic count. There's no sin in that.

Whatever you do, don't pay attention to your brain. Analogs are bad for you ... just don't listen. Even just one is just one more nail in you coffin. It is guaranteed to do more psychological damage than you think.

Good luck.
