Think I'am Getting Screwed Here

Take a look and see what you think. I made a purchase from FreedomSmokeUSA and had 2 items removed from the cart. They charged me $66.25 including a $5 shipping fee for $35.00 worth of supplies, then issued a 26.50 coupon for the items removed.

Seems like im getting screwed here! Now on the next order i make i can no longer get those items without having to come out of pocket 5 more dollars. Anyone else think this is BS?

You clicked the "process order" button and your payment was out of their control at that point. But they should be able to contact the processor and issue a partial refund on items removed from your cart or send you a check or something other than store credit.

I've shopped quite a bit with FSUSA with good experiences. A phone call might be what you need at this point.

Yep. If their cart system was broken, and they aren't willing to make good - then let them have it. What if you didn't like anything you bought and had no intention of returning? Then you've got a coupon worth nothing, and you're out the dollars.

I'd send another mail or call and say - hey... come on guys. You screwed up, and your coupon is only valid if I choose to purchase from you again... To me - a screw up demands a reasonable reparation. Wouldn't treat one of my customers that way. If I take a loss from making it right, I take a loss. Plain and simple.

Better a loss, and gain customer loyalty than get 20$ and lose potential revenue due to negative customer feedback.

I'm sure that if you call they'll make it right. If not, we'll hear about it! :)

this is 100% on them and its up to them to fix this for you. like was said earlier, if for some reason you choose not to go back to them for another order your just out cash and even if you do you still got 5 buck shipping fee that should not be on you due to circumstances. when what you wanted come back into stock could they just not ship it to you on their dime or were they discontinued items??

I received the order today, the items i had removed were not in the box. I had multiple browsers open when the order submitted and i think it somehow it dropped the order from the other page into to cart. As soon as i clicked it i noticed the "cart update". Thats when i sent the email out to FSUSA. I looked everywhere on there website and could not find a cancel last order button or anything like it. I used their Contact FSUSA link off their Contact us link to submit the email.

That shouldn't be. A simple phone call or email from them should be all it takes. Hopefully the owner knows how to do that, but, if they're truly not set up for that, they need a different pay system lol. Again, if it was me and they don't get it resolved, my next call would be to my card company, explaining what I got and what I didn't get. I feel pretty sure they can help you. I know mine would.

Edit: Let's hope the owner takes good care of you. Since you're a repeat customer, he should.

We definately do understand the inconvenience, however any website you place an order on has a confirmation page. This is so you can double check to make sure everything in the cart is correct and to make sure your total is correct before you hit submit. If you do not double check the order before you continue checking out, I am having trouble figuring out how that is a problem with our cart. Unfortunately we do use a third party secure pay site that does not give us access to customer card information.This is for customer safety, and because of this we cannot refund partial orders, we can only cancel full orders, or refund duplicate charges.

Since we did understand that this order was placed in error we did what we could for you, which is issuing a store credit. If you have been ordering with us for awhile, which we can see from your order history you have I am not sure where the problem is. You would have been placing another order in the future for more supplies, since you seem to be fairly regular, the coupon code would discount the amount from this order that you didnt want from your next order.

I understand that you feel that you would be paying the shipping twice for one order, but if we had the ability to refund the partial amount, wouldnt you be paying shipping on your next order anyways?

I am not meaning to sound rude at all, however we have done everything that we have the ability too at this point and again we do understand your frustration, but asking us to bend even farther than we already have when the error was not on our end is a little far fetched. We are still more than willing to work with you as much as we can within our means.

There is going to be no more orders after this one. I will place a new order so i can get my money back, suck up the shipping fee and never make another order with y'all again. I always recommended your site for good juice, but after this, im just plain mad. You just lost a loyal customer and some good reviews. One last order for me, then never again!
