Looking for an rba in the couple of months but Im pretty particular in what I want so Im people can chime in here with a few suggestions.Im gonna attempt to list the qualifications below so we can narrow it down from there.

Quality: I dont mind paying a premium for a rock solid super dependable rba because I think in the long run its cheaper that way. Ive been using a Provari on and off for a about a year now and Im looking for a good addition to that.

Materials: Going back to quality Im looking for Pyrex, possibly fused quartz (dont know much about it) and stainless steel construction that will look good with a polished chrome Provari.

Ease of use: While I'm pretty dextrous I have what they call a martial hand with short fat stubby fingers so I wont be playing a guitar any time soon. Tried that and it was just too painful even with stretching. Ill probably start out with 100 percent cotton or bambo wicks to start and then maybe move on the ss mesh later on. Im pretty mechanically inclined, I work on my own vehicles and have rebuilt a carburetor or two in my day as well so it doesnt have to be super simple just ....efficient..I guess thats the word Im looking for.

Anyway there you have it, looking forward to hearing your replies and deciding whats best for me based on the criteria above and your suggestions.

Thanks in advance, Rob aka zapped

I have tried a few different RBAs and I have to say the AGA-T is probably my favorite so far, especially for the price you can find them at. (Another key factor; You can actually find them!). You dont really have to do any modification for it to be set up for cotton wicking, just pull the typical negative screw out and the fill screw and use those two holes, it has an extra negative post just for that. If you want to use SS mesh you just use the existing unthreaded hole for it. Cheap, pretty decent quality and vapes better than some of the ones I paid upwards of 100 dollars for.

Word of warning: Buy extra kanthal and mesh(when you decide to try it), i probably went through a yard of kanthal and a square foot of mesh before i finally got the knack of making it all work together.

Just got a SmokTek Hyper SRT II from gotvapes.com(just a customer). I saw PBusardo's "quick review" on it where he couldn't give it a thumbs up. That video is now outdated since the version being sold is a newer version. Same name, different build confusing for sure.. In any case, with a bit of tweaking, this RBA is my new favorite (compared to the vivi nova tank). Drilled the wick holes out a bit more and replaced the silica wicks with cotton square braid. For 20 bucks it's a great RBA in my opinion. The draw is "wide open" compared the the much tighter draw on the vivi tank. The air flowing through it is noticeable though.

Sorry for the late reply. Probably wont be dripping that much as I drive a lot for my job.

OH yeah... the Hyper SRT II is definitely not something you'd want to be carrying around in your pocket. I'd worry it'd leak Probably best with a cheap Vision nova mini or tank since they're not as finicky as a typical RBA would be. The mini seems to be the most durable. I got so used to wicking/coiling the vivis that I had to do a double take on my first RBA :)

Police officer at your car window: "Didn't see that stop sign? What? Wicking a what?!?"
