The Young June model (which this is) uses UNfiltered pulse width modulation. It will run MUCH hotter than the voltage that you set. As an example, 4.3v on a well filtered variable voltage unit is going to be equivalent to about 3.0v on this PV. On a SR atomizer, anything above about 4.7v is going to be off the charts "hot". This may be what you are looking for, just wanted to make you aware. The max amps is also not 4A, more like 2.7A at the most. This has been tested by many reviewers.
There is a new L-Rider model that looks identical to the Young June, the Lambo v2. Only physical appearence difference is a red power button vs the silver on Young June models. The Lambo has VERY good filtered power, so 4.2v on a Lambo is the same as 4.2v on a Provari or any other quality VV. The build and durability on a ProVari is far and away better than either the L-Rider or Young June.
Not that they are badly built. Both are pretty tough and rugged (except for the buttons which are a little loose and rattle). Both new versions will display atomizer ohms, remaining battery voltage and have 3 second on/off by holding down the power button.
I picked up a Lambo v2 (L-Rider) about 2 weeks ago at MyVaporStore (
The Electronic Cigarette Super Store | myvaporstore.com). I had never purchased from them before, but delivery was very fast and the price was great ($54.95). They call it Lambo v4, but there is no v4, it is v2. Overall, I am very happy with it. It does exactly what it is supposed to do, and does it WELL!
Hope this helps ya!
