Thinking about picking up a uwell crown 1 tank

Hi I'm thinking about picking up a uwell crown tank is there thing I need to know about it and pionters and tips would be helpful and much apraciated

v1 on the cheap? Ignore this whole thing if not. It was never my favorite with the stock coils (0.15s), and always felt too airy with muted flavor for me. The "take to work" vape is the top tank mini with stock coils (0.15s). But... I did enjoy the original crown using the rba head. So if you build, it can bump the flavor up. I just don't take rebuildables/rtas to work, but that's probably just me.

Crown never leaked on me. Easy to take apart and clean and such. Low maintenance. Threads were never stellar, but never caused an issue. Solid, and depending on your usage might be great. Sadly it depends.

I have a bunch of Crown 1's and like them but as APathos says get yourself the RBA to go with it. There's a world of difference in performance between the stock coils and the RBA.

I'm a huge fan of the Crown 1. I've been using it daily for the last few months on my RX200, along with my RDA's on mechs.

I like both a MTL as well as DL draw, depending upon my mood. With the Crown 1's ratcheted air control ring, I can adjust my vape according to my mood.

I've used the O.5 and 0.25 ohm coils. Not much difference to me. The coils last me up to 1 month. Being a vertical coil, I often drop a cotton-tip applicator down through the drip tip and into the coil head to remove accumulated gunk.

I use my Crown on my RX200 at around 30 watts. I prefer using my RDA's on my mechs. I don't have the RBA accessory for the Crown 1.

some people love them and have no issues with them... others hate it due to leaking, bad airflow, wonky coils...

Ive seen more threads here about the issues than the praises... my advice... leave it on the counter, dont pick it up

I use the Crown v1 and think it is a great tank. Coils last long, with good flavor and the cloud production is decent as well. Never leaked for me.

I'm talking about the newer and approved crown v1 tank with the .50 and .25 dual sscoils

Bought mine used about 4 months back. Like it a lot.
Changed my first 0.25 coil a couple weeks back and noticed a more restricted airflow. Much tighter than my first coil that lasted for well over 2 months.

Twisting a Q-tip in and out of the new coil a couple of times,
like the Bad man suggests opened up the draw and made it as it should be. Perfect imho. Cheers.

There is a Crown V2 out now, some love it...others?... not so much.

I never use mine anymore, but it's a solid little tank. I prefer the 0.5 coil head or the RBA insert. I just don't use it anymore because the deck is so small and I build all my own coils. But it's a good tank imho. No leaks, no dry hits. Cheap coil heads.

I'm just doing a test run on a uwell crown tank I have a rafale tank with the ASB system removed it's great for balanced clouds and flavour but I'm more of a flavour chaser I saw this rating system on Vaping 360 saying the crown tank is amazing for flavour
