I'd wait for the new provari to come around. Comparing current PVs and their chips, the provari's are falling behind a bit. I certainty hope they up their limits a bit power wise, modernise that alarm clock display, VW, etc.
At the moment their are better featured APVs out there for less money, allowing a far wider range of coils and offering a great deal more power.
I love my provari but find myself using it less these days.

You should probably sell it before V3 comes out, before the re-sale value drops. From the P. Busardo video, you won't be happy with V3 either. ProVari aren't for everyone...

I wouldn't wait; if I was ready to upgrade to a provari. They hold their value; used ones sell for maybe 10-20 dollars less than new ones. No one knows what exactly the new model will be or when it will be released. If it's a whole new product line, the current one will still be selling and will still be what it is. For my style of vaping and the style of so many preople there really isn't allot I would change from the current model. All the complaints about its power are for people who want to subohm and/or drip. Which not everyone is into. But throwing a good tank/RBA on it is ideal for many of us. The current model effortlessly delivers that with zero problems or complaints.
That said I would go ahead and get it now. Should the new cone come out and be something you do in fact want either sell the one you bought and put the proceeds towards a new one, or, make the one you have your backup and get the new one. That's my plan anywAy.

Not necessarily; any topper works great on the provari; it's all in what YOU like. I used aerotanks for months on mine, then decided to try a carto, tasted great, great vape production, then started getting into RBAs. I switched to RBAs for fun though. There is no rule book on this stuff. I'm an electrical engineer and got into coiling for fun as a hobby. My fiancé sticks with what she likes- aerotanks and nautilus, it's about what you enjoy, keep that I'm mind. Just cause i like something doesn't mean you will.

Started vaping over a year ago and can't remember all the imported devices I went through before I found ProVape.
I bought my Provari Mini about 8 months ago and I'm very happy with it. My initial decision was based on 2 important factors:
1 - Variable voltage and user replaceable battery.
2 - I wanted "MADE IN USA".
I am impressed with the high quality of construction and the overall professionalism of the ProVape company.

You will be happy with whatever you purchase.

With a Kayfun you wind your own coils $7 for maybe 150 to 200 coils little organic cotton your good to go. Not difficult just a little patients and anyone can do it. Tony we seem to have gone down the same path. Tony is right it is about what you enjoy. I just suggested a Kayfun because it is what I enjoy.

Apparently I'm sorry that you went that route haha
The path itself sucked but the destination is great! Haha
The path made me hate B&Ms
Shouldn't put it that way; I didn't discover ECF or any of the higher end gear till I was invested almost 500 dollars in gear I could have gotten for a hundred bucks :(

Ya looks like I will just get it as soon as I can and then see what happens when they put the new one out. I had an aerotank but the one I got I think was defective...the pin that connects the battery was way lower than it should have been and scratched my battery in my mvp so I just went back to the protanks. My Faatank wasn't that good either. But I am liking the idea of getting a provari 2.5 then seeing what comes out and getting that too and having the 2.5 as a back up......lol.......having a provari as a back up sounds like im rich haha but im not......my mvp was a big buy for me and then I turned around and told my fiancé I wanted a $200 provari and she .... herself then said she would try to get it for me for fathers day and asked if that would be the last time.......I mistakenly said yes lol.

I bought my provari as a reward for quitting; haven't bought another mod since; but, I'm the type where 1 good mod is all I want, I've bought allot of toppers; after all that's what makes the vape. The provari is just the best power delivery system out there for every reason mentioned. But when the new one comes out I know I'll be in front of the line for it no matter what it is.... Lol

So far personally I have liked the protanks .......BUT......im getting a lot of condensation in both the pt2, im constantly taking off the drip tip and blowing thu it and running a q tip down the center of the base to clear it out......don't have as much of a problem with the pt1 but I still have to do it occasionally.

Noticed that on the aero's. Since I got into the RBAs and rebuildables all I use my "prebuilt tanks" for are those times that I want something different but don't wanna use the big tank, which is rare. In the past month I think I've used an aero for ten minutes and threw it back in the bag.
The flavor and vape out of the kfun is just addicting in itself. Only part that kills me is when I get that coil built perfect and the placement is perfect I don't wanna change the coil lol. Glad they last about a month or two at a time lol
