Most people go from smoking to e cigs but I went from not smoking to e cigs and have been doing it for 3 weeks. I am using strictly 12 mg juices from multiple venders with a pg/vg mix about 80/20. Now when I do it, I get light headed and dizzy, no chest pains or heart palps. I am considering stopping. I considered lowering to 6 mg but would have to re-buy everything. I don't know. I enjoy it but not the dizziness. I try to do it less but two or three hits is just not satisfying.

I didn't smoke cigs. I quit in 1994. I would not go back. I am using V2, which are not as bad, and vapor chef hobbes blood which I love but get dizzy. I also use diamondfly e cigs butterscotch which is now almost too harsh. Maybe I am more efficient in my vaping now, I don't know. I am thinking it may not be the manufacturers.

If you didn't smoke before you either should have gone with zero nicotine or maybe 3mg if you wanted nic.
Being a non-smoker you have zero tolerance for nicotine, so the headrush you get is the result of too much/too fast.

I'd suggest quitting or using zero nicotine.

I second that!!!

and third it too....just in case

I can say this. I often go on 15 minute breaks at work at take 40 hits off my hobbes blood vv/vw device. I may be little heavy handed. I also hit the V2 7 or 8 times in less than two minutes at other times. Being a big toker that is probably at least one cig, if not more, knowing the size I used to take. I will try less. It will be hard.

Sorry but u can't accurately or otherwise compare a Vape to a puff, there's no proper science yet. U are inhaling way less nic while Vapeing so chain Vapeing is usually ok.

Please refrain until u can get some 0 nic liquid in hand. Also u may have an allergy to PG or VG. If your not sure just quit Vapeing. GL.

You're probably getting too much nicotine. I went from half a pack a day to 6mg-- 12mg was too high for me.

You don't necessarily have to get rid of your juice, although you could PIF it. You could buy 0mg juice in the same flavors to mix it into, lowering the nic concentration.

I would strongly recommend buying the same liquids again in 0 nic and mixing them half and half. You surly want to be able to chain vape when you feel the need without knocking yourself out. Tell your wife it won't be a waste if you already know you like the flavors. I am assuming she doesn't smoke or vape so it's hard for her to understand the need to have it adjusted just right. Try explaining it to her from your point of view. Like how it is such a stress reliever but just adds stress and frustration when the dose is to high like it is now. Also offer to let her treat herself to something that is a stress reliever for her. How about a pedicure?

It could potentially be something else as well, besides the nicotine. Although it's still a primary suspect.

I just started vaping about a month ago and I've only tried a few things so far (budget limitations and all) but have so far found 1 juice that completely destroyed my mouth with canker sores and another that makes my mouth and throat really dry and scratchy. I don't think either of these is a VG or PG reaction since other juices from the same place with the same mix seem fine.

Have you experienced the same effects from different juices or tried different juices?

It's cool you went straight to vaping instead of smoking though. I have had no end of hurdles since starting vaping but am determined to stick with it since I haven't smoked in a month now and actually enjoy it exponentially more than I ever did cigs. It does seem to be a lot more . . .fiddly than smoking though so there can be some kinks to work out.
