I have a magneto V3 with all logos, 134 and 134mini, Vamo v5 and my ego's it all depends on what you are looking for. You said you want to try rda's, go for it BUT please study and research on them and while making your coils i dont want you to get hurt. Having a mech you can have the best of both worlds by having a kick. Or if you stay vv-vw thats fine too man. My upgrade from ego k ce4 was Vamo V5 great mod. Then 134mini another Great mod, then i had to have the 134 which i use exclusively its my fav. And just recently bought the Magneto V3 a badass lil mech i have a kraken and patriot i use for it as well the nautilus works just as great too. It really just depends on what you are looking for to use, what you like, and how much you want to spend. I mean dudes spending 200+ on a vv-vw device hey cool, 34 for a mech which is not asking alot they could easily bump this up to 80$ or more. Take your pick man

Hi I think in my opinion you should stick with the vv/vg mods and I'll tell you why. Being a new builder, (taifun is a great choice for RBA) things can go wrong while learning like shorts in wiring and with a mechanical mod you won't have that built in shutdown protection that you would have in a vv/vg device and things can go bad rather quickly. I've had a short on a mechanical mod and in a half second the device is so hot you can barely touch it! If left it would definitely vent the battery and blow it's such a scarey situation. Now if you get yourself a good vv/vw device like a DNA 30 it simply won't run a short. Yet with the newer 30 s you can still go sub ohm down to .3 if you wish and they will run 30 watts no matter the resistance of your coil. So your getting the best of both worlds. But the mechanicals won't protect you if you have a issue with your coil. You can always get a mechanical later to play around with but for a safe daily vape consider something like the Dna 30. You will be able to go up to 30 watts and have a bit more safety on your side while you are learning your builds. Right now fluid vapes has the Dna 30, cloupor 1:1 clone in stock no waiting like other places and it ships from their wear house in california for a great price!! This is the second generation with the updated electronics and the new 510 connection. They have such a good deal I grabbed a red one for myself. My husband went online to get one on his own and he was put on a waiting list and they said it will be at least one week wait. I told him he should have went to fluid vapes like I did. Anyway it's a really good deal right now.I have a dna 20 and love it but the 30 is a lot better with less limitations. You might consider one of these. They are great devicessation with lots of power. It would be a great upgrade. Hope this helps. Best wishes

Hey everyone! So I've been vaping out of my ProTankII/iTaste V3 set up, and I'm planning for my first upgrade. I was wondering how soon I should switch it all out. Nothing is wrong with anything, I just want to be prepared :)

I like my clearomizer, but I want to learn more about RBAs and RDAs, and if I decide to go with a new device, I'm not sure if I should stay with a VV/VW or go mechanical, or ahhhh! Questions!:ohmy:

Well your vv v3 is just a battery after all so it's only a matter of time before it no longer holds a charge.

3 months; 6 months; 1 year;

From the looks of it, I'm probably only gonna have a mech mod for home use. It sounds like I'd be safer having a vv/vw for when I'm out and about because I always have a slight fear that something might go wrong while I'm outside. Can't really fix a vape at work or at a restaurant or something!

.. unless there are quick fixes that I should know about? :ohmy:
