Thinning out 50/50 blends...

I have some very thick, darker juice I use and LOVE. (USA Tiramissu) I usually add vodka to thin it out cause it clogs up everything!

My question is, can I use a 90 proof whisky instead?

In a pinch, I suppose but PGA (not always available) and 151 proof uncolored, unflavored - filtered if you can find it vodka is best. You can also dilute with deionized/distilled water - I think I'd use that before whiskey.
