5c, I saw you ripping on them on FB...way to go!!

Wharf, we had our Call to Action hearings here in CT last week. I wasn't able to make it to the public speaking hearing, and I don't know if there has been a decision made yet.

Mixed bag 'o crap today. About 4" of snow, sleet all day, now back to snow again. Temp's above freezing right now tho so it's all mostly slop.

Got a letter from hubs today, well MIL did (he knows I'm not inclined to be his enabler) Says he's already been beat up and sent to the infirmary, and complaining that they won't give him anything to help calm his anxiety. (hello, it's not club med your in!) He was begging his mom to post bail and get him out, and she was about to cave, until she found out that she would not get that $15k back...ever. She thought you pay that to the bail bondsman, and after court you get it back! I assured her that he IS getting the meds that he needs for his diabetes and high blood pressure, if he got his ... kicked, then he'll learn to mind his own business...and if he is truly in danger, he can ask for ad seg (protective custody) I feel bad for him, but I remind myself and MIL that he is where he is because of the choices he made. His next court date is next Wed. and we did at least put $50 on his commissary account. Long, heart wrenching day.

Everyone here helping to hold me up, keeps me strong...and I thank you all from the bottom of my heart!

I know the feeling. I lived in a family of criminals. I used to send my sister 50 dollars a week when she was in prison, last time she got caught robbing someone in a parking lot (for 5 dollars none the less, Sometimes I wonder if she actually is related to me at all considering some of her poor actions) She literally begged me to pay her bail....but like you, I feel the same way. She was there for her own actions. I've been in jail before, I know it's not the cherry life; and thats why I do everything I can think of to never go back; however, majority of my family don't understand that concept of staying out of trouble.

Good morning everyone, isn't today officially first day of Spring !!!!!!!!!!!! Hows everyone doing this morning?

I think in about an hour it will officially be Springtime in East Texas! The wild flowers are starting to bloom in my pastures and soon we should have a lot of different colors of posies growing everywhere.

We had a good rain last night that should have knocked a lot of the pollen out of the air, so I think a lot of people will be feeling better today too. The pollen had been in very high ranges around here.

And it won't be long now before the grass starts growing like crazy and I'll be out there most days either mowing this huge danged yard we have, or on the tractor keeping the small pastures east and west of the house mowed with the bush hog. I also keep the south end of the back yard mowed with the tractor to keep everything looking nice because my wife tells me I will keep everything mowed and looking nice.

Here's what me and my tractor look like in case you were wondering ....

So c'mon down to Texas and I can have you plop your backside in the seat of something and we'll go do some mowing!

Hey, TT, I drive a Ford Fusion and that is ALL I drive. Hub has this big piece of machinery...not even sure what you call it...it mows, it has a back hoe...I won't go near it. The day he got it, I opened the front door and he and my brother were out there drooling over it. It's a guy thing, I guess.
