I hear you about the haters Dee. Katie hates it that I get up around 10:30am and go to bed around 3am. Truth is, the hours between about 11pm until 3am are the only peaceful hours I get without her quacking in my face about something or other. When I need to change that schedule, I will...until then I'm gonna keep on enjoying the only peace I get

Good morning everyone!!
Warm here this morning too Fran. When I woke up it was 41 already, yeah!!!! I can't wait to take the warmer sheets off the bed and most of all shut off that fuel guzzling furnace! I have to schedule furnace repairs then too. Two parts are giving me fits now and although I hate spending the money it's costing me much more in the long run. Cannot be avoided any longer but I need to wait until it is no longer needed for heating the house as the job will probably take hours to complete.
Dd came in from college yesterday for an interview for an internship in town here. She will graduate with her Bachelors degree (with honors, so proud!) and begin her Masters program this summer. She has decided to commute for the duration. I am happy about that as the crime level is through the roof down where she is. 4 and a half weeks and counting it down until we move her HOME!
Anyways, the interview went very well and the position would be a perfect fit for her. We are crossing all of our crossables on this one!!! She should find out by mid April if she is one of the chosen ones.
We are expecting a 12 hour rain event today. Eh, whatever.....at least it isn't snow!!! Much better than the earlier forecast of rain Friday through Sunday as well. I'll take it.
