Oh 5er, 5 years of this? Dang! I'm sorry. :( I'll keep praying as I'm sure we all are that it all works out this time for you. (((hugs)))

Thank you so much Tracy, you're a sweetheart. I hope so too and if it's the Lords will it will be fine. If not I'm okay with whatever his will is.

I'm copy pasting this from another place so I don't have to write it all again. PLEASE Forgive me.
It seems after your eyelids fuse from being sewed shut so long that the lashes start growing anyway they want. I had 6 or 7 thick heavy lashes that grew in. It felt like I had sticks in my eyes and in fact made my eye bleed and it was red all the time. Terrible feeling and painful. Well he removed them and wow, it is so nice. He said the transplant was healing nice so YIPEE!!! I have good news for a change.

That IS great news 5c!! It's about damn time that eye started getting better :)

Tracy, I mentioned to Katie's dentist about the gum erosion causing her pain and he agreed. He loosened the retainer ring on her denture that fits over the offending tooth and told her she'd need to start using something like Fixadent or Polygrip instead of just relying on the retainer ring to hold her upper plate solid. The ring was rubbing the tooth right at the gum line.

My monitor wouldn't work when I turned it on this afternoon...took me some brain cells to figure out what was wrong. I use a DVI cable from my graphics card to the monitor since I don't really need HD for my computer, even tho it and my graphics card are HDMI capable. When I turned it off before going to the dentist I must have hit the menu button by accident, and switched it to HDMI. Its odd that I couldn't get to the menu when I turned it back on, but all I could get was the "No HDMI Signal" error. Had to unhook it, swipe the HD cord off the TV and hook the monitor up to my Bluray player to get the screen to work...thus the menu!! Got it set back to DVI, cabled back up to my computer, finally got my lunch, sat down to eat and check the forums...and our cable was down :glare:

Back to whatever is normal in this house!! Could have been worse, my first thought was OH HELL NO!! thinking my monitor had kicked the bucket on me.

I hate it when stuff like that happen. You're not missing anything with the HDMI cable. That's what I use too and I have an HD cable in the drawer. I've had them both hooked up and there was no difference and I still get my HD movies in HD on my TV from my PC. I think the only difference is one you fisically attach and the other one plugs in but that means it gets un-plugged just as easy (like by mistake). Anyway I'm glad you got everything going again. We couldn't do without you here.

Great news about the eye J5 !!!!!!!!

So you telling me the tooth that was hurting had a retainer attached??? Wouldn't that raise a red flag???

All went well with the water install minus the shower...I plumbed straight into them with a connection that supposedly fit...well fit it did...seal it did not...not at all...I had 2 shut offs so I plumbed them in too get the water back on...Toilet and the new vanity are on line...Guess 2 outta 3 ain't bad...The drains worked flawlessly....

Dee, the retainer is on an upper molar, but she keeps telling the dentist that the shooting pain is from the bottom molar right under it. The bottom molar had a high spot that was hitting the side of her denture when she chews, so he ground the high spot down too.

Thing is, she won't do half the stuff he asks her to do. He told her to use the Sensidyne toothpaste, and found out today that she thought she was just supposed to rub some of it on her tooth when it hurt. I also got some oragel for her but she hasn't even opened the box. Today he told her that she needs to be using a denture adhesive, so we got some Fixodent on the way home. Before bed she asked me if she was supposed to put that on her tooth. It's very sad watching her mind go, and it seems to be advancing quickly in the last year :(

I hope I don't wake up in the morning and find she glued her mouth shut with the Fixodent! Hmmmm...do I really mean that?! Yes (no) yes ;)

Well Bov I hope what the dentist did gives her some relief....

Believe one thing....crawling around under a mobile home for two straight days will kick your azz...I got the sore shoulder...the roughed up knees...Due too the fact my bathtub faucet came from the tub fiasco guy I'm gonna remove it and seek perfessional advice...That dang thing didn't come close too sealing....More like holding your thumb over the end of the hose....my bed and everything else in the room got an unwanted washing....Not exactly what you wanna see after two days of slaving...Though I never said a word Spike could sense I wasn't liking the situation...had too stop and reassure him we were all good...I'll get it fixed but that will be another battle for another day...

Mom and Sis rolled in @9 and took over the bed drying stuff...and I was glad of that.....Busting a trail home tomorrow...Thinking about sliding into the surf shop prior and picking up a pair of Sanuk shoes...Then it's break time....

But some people that have sensitive teeth to hot or cold have it for certain kinds of metal. I can't remember now but there was one metal that sent my teeth into shooting pain. Maybe it was the metal in the retainer.
