That's funny. This place is noted for rain and it's raining everywhere but here.

Late afternoon all!! Glorious sunshine and almost 60 here today! My feet haven't stopped since they hit the floor this morn. Gutter extensions, more shoveling away from the house so there is less to leak into the basement as it melts. Trip to Home Depot for the extensions, expanding foam in a can, and that handy spray on rubber sealant 5'er told me about. Here's a little fact I wish I had read before I got to work in the basement...yup, I used soap first, and mineral spirits don't work either :( I'll wear chem gloves next time.

Instructions

1

Remove the bulk of the sealant mechanically by scraping it off while it is still moist. Do not wash your hands with soap and water as foam sealants cure in contact with water. Remove more of the sealant mechanically with a pumice stone once it is dry.

Dee, feel better!!!

Yeah Tracy, Bov is a snow shoveling workaholic. I've never seen anything like it!

Hey mod, I hope you're enjoying that beautiful desert country out there!

El Dee, I sure do hope you are feeling better! But I hope its just a little cold your catching, not the flu or anything like that. Get well buddy!

The rain has passed and the sun is shining here again and we're looking forward to the rest of the week being around 75 degrees and sunny. I need to get out to the lake and get our deck boat cleaned up and ready for some springtime fishing. This is about one of the best times of year to fish around here and I'm looking forward to it.

So I'm going to be pretty busy while all the snow shovelers and workaholics are busy doing their thing!

No allergies Tracy...Noticed my throat burning Friday Night...I was getting sinus drainage...Saturday the burning ceased as the snot increased...Today has been a full on snot fest...One of those colds where you wipe your nose raw.............Pumping the vitamin C and drinking Gatorade and Tropicanna extra pulpy...Hoping I get more rest tonight than last...Also hoping for a dang reduction in the snot production department....Pass the dang tissue....
