"Lacrimae rerum sunt...." wrote Vergil back in the Bronze Age... him being Roman and all he wrote in Latin because they were like that ... but the whole thingie translates as "There are tears for things and human sorrows touch the heart".
Now for this sorrow to touch my aged hard bitten cynical heart, I really need to know over what I should be gnashing my teeth ( which were rather expensive so it really had better be good, mind!) rending my garments, pouring ash on my baldie heid, weeping and wailing, snivelling and snorking etc...
