I had to post this in here because Mark and whoever the other fine folks at madvapes helped to make this possible.
Yesterday I had a small group of smokers who wanted to quit the cigs over to my house to introduce them to ecigs. I ordered a 610 kit and some other stuff from madvapes to use at the demo (all I own are mods at this point). I told Mark and Co. what I was planning and they threw in a couple disposables and a bunch of juice as a free bonus or contribution to the cause or whatever.
Everyone there was amazed. None of them had ever seen an ecig in real life before and they all got to try them. I demonstrated charging, filling carts, fitting new polyfill in carts, filling cartomizers, etc. It was a lot of info for everyone but I tried not to make it too overwhelming.
I also showed them the mods that I make and let them compare the standard 510 to my mods with an 18650 battery. They compared standard and LR attys and even tried one of my mods at 6volts with a high resistance atty.
The result was that I sold the regular 510 kit that I bought for the demo to one guy and he ordered a mod that he wants me to do in a wood veneer (that's kinda my thing). Another guy bought a painted pipe mod that I had on hand.
The guy that bought the 510 kit called me this afternoon to tell me that he hasn't smoked a cigarette since he was over at my house after 20 years of smoking and countless failed attempts to quit. I could hear the excitement in his voice. He also wanted to order another one of my mods for his dad, so that's cool too He called me from his dad's house to get some websites to order a 510 kit for his dad as well. I sent him to madvapes of course. The guy who bought the mod from me yesterday called while I was mowing the lawn and said he'd call back so I'm anxious to hear what he has to say.
This whole thing is turning out great thanks in large part to the generous nature of Mark and madvapes. I think it's a good thing we're all doing here.
