I'm the spoil sport to this. IMHO the vamo just isn't that big. It's long but not that big. Oh how the heck do you say this without getting kicked off ECF. Ok I'll do my best and hope the moderators have forgiveness in their hearts. If you really look at the vamo, (and yes I have a v1 and also a v2) The electronic head or top piece is almost the size of a Provari, Silver Bullet, etc. As for what you need to set it at. Well that's only something you can determine. I know a lot of people that only want to be able to say they vape at 10 or 15 watts. I don't see why but it's not my place to say it's wrong. I like around 6-7 watts. I've got a provari, a kicked SB and 2 vamo's plus a lot of other devices. They all run around 6-7 watts. LR heads/carto's. I'm a happy camper. The main thing is that you like it. Good luck.

And just remembered. If your in VW mode. The vamo doesn't know if your using a DCT or a single coil carto. Hope it helps some. I never use dct's but I really like all my single coil carto's in my tanks.

I was also hoping that the stainless VAMO would be considerably lighter than the chrome version. However, my stainless steel version weighs 4 3/8 oz./125 gr. and my chrome version weighs 4 5/8 oz./131 gr.

That sucks was hoping the ss version would be lighter than the brass one oh well at least the finger prints will not show as bad.

Speaking for myself, I think the size/weight is so apparent, just because of what I came from before the Vamo. It's a Bolt, and quite a bit shorter and lighter. I loaned out my Bolt to my mom for about a week, while she waited on her replacement. I was using the Vamo the whole time, and when I got my Bolt back yesterday..........the Bolt felt like a feather!

But on the flip side, someone coming from a cig-a-like, the Bolt would probably feel huge. It's all relative.

When I first got my Telescope and Bolt I thought they were huge and heavy compared to the eGo, now they are light and small .

Yes it is a good size, my only comparison is a twist, ego mini, and the cigalike sticks I like my vamo.

I have large hands. The VAMO works great and I walk around with 2 of them in my shirt pocket. Just have to be careful when you bend over to pick something up!
