I swear that these cartomizers will stop a person from using the 510/901/801 almost 99% of the time. I seem to barely use any of my other atomizers anymore in the short time I have started using cartomizers. I had seen them a while ago(cartomizers), but just ignored them to the fact that a long term atty filling e-liquid was cheaper.

Now that it is clear that refilling cartomizers is easy well I think that cartomizers are just about as cheap. Yet, they have a blessing around them. THEY LAST FREAKING FOREVER!

Standard 901/801/510 atomizers are around 10 dollars a pop give or take a few dollars. On top of that they start to lose there kick after 2 weeks(at least for me). So I end up swapping them out for a different one by that point.

Giving that point a cartomizer not refilling it are 3 dollars a pop or less give or take. These can be refilled very easily, and last a week or so also.

On all standard atomizers 901/801/510 I have tried I have had to drip, because I could never ever get carts to work just right. On top of that the carts didn't last very long so I always had to change them out all the time. They are also a pain to refill for the most because the liquid seems not to just want to go into them.

On the cartomizer I can make one last a whole day, and the vapor is always on key every pull. There is no need to carry a bottle of liquid on me, because the cartomizer just works like it should. It sucks all the e-liquid that is put in them, and you don't have the dead spot problem with them. No need for straw mods, tea bags non of that crap.

Mixing flavors is a pain on standard atomizers for most people. Flavors get all mixed up, and you don't really want to swap swap swap flavors around. You could use more than one atomizer, but at cost it's not cheap to have a bunch of atomizers(901/801/510)running at all times.

Cartomizers are cheap in my book, and because they are cheap it allows you to have many cartomizers with different flavors going at one time. They are also in different colors so you can keep track on what flavor is in each one.

I have a little love for all of the different ones I have tried. Yet, the evil cartomizers well are just almost perfect.

  • No need to carry E-Liquid dripping on them is un-needed
  • Vapor is always the same output on them
  • They last all day
  • They hold a lot of E-Liquid, and use every bit that is put in them
  • Different colors to help you keep track of different flavors
  • You don't feel bad when you toss one, because they are cheap

Now, I have started to collect the standard Nylon that is in the 901/801/510. I plan to try and mod them into a cartomizer to see how well they would hold E-Liquid in them. I'm wondering if they would last longer than the normal ones, but I'm unsure about it.

Somebody really needs to come up with a simple, short 510 -> cartomizer adapter. It's an easy design, and it will allow those of us with a huge collection of 510 stuff to experience/test/use the cartomizers.

Yeah, I'd probably give them a shot if I could use them on my 510 Chuck.

Why does the morning fresh cartomizer taste so freaking good at 6v? The vapor production is off the cart, and the taste just starts a rain fall in my mouth of what could be said of a perfect vape.

If you like your normal atomizers DON'T TRY THE CARTOMIZERS!!!

Dang you. It is people like you that cause me to spend money. You come here and make this sound so good that now I will have to try them when I was perfectly happy using a BE112. I hope you are pleased with yourself.

After a few post from it, I found that the adapter was getting to much air. It's not bad, but it makes the break in point for the cartomizer take longer before it's spitting out a ton of vapor. I have now made the hole smaller, and the vapor starts up just like it should. Which means no waiting for it to really take off.

Vapor for Life sent me a free manual battery yesturaday, and I'm tempted to rip the connector out to make a real adaptor for the 510. IDK tho the setup I have now works really really good.

you can get a 510 to 901 adapter at altsmokes and yes then you can use the 901 manual extension and drill a hole in it get the extension at vaporkings period com for like shy of 2 bucks

Yup.... but I was really hoping for something that didn't make the PV 1.5" longer! Like I said, it should be pretty easy to make a really short adapter that gets the job done.

I was looking for that thread :p
but my previous post says it :D

and its better to drill a tiny hole in the extension than the vc's 901 to cart adapter

Yep they stoped me too. But I have found somthing better yet the greencig carto. I still think 6v is to hot for cartomizers, KR batt or 5v mod works best.

6v works well on fresh ones IMO. Not so much on the not so fresh ones. 5v would be more perfect for the all day vape.

I use the 18650 battery on them the majority of the time, and really love the fact that it will work of what seems to be forever compairing other atomizers with carts.
