I have tried to purchase from Chinese suppliers twice in the last couple of weeks. Each order was turned away by U.S. Customs. I think they're on to us.

can we have some detail marian.. without detail its just speculation and rumour mongering.. i am about to send something to the US.. should i bother or send the guy his money back..

what exactly do u imply with "i think they are on to us".. what exactly does that mean.. and what does "turned away" mean..

some more information please..

trog

ps.. i missed your last post about the "liquid".. but it still leaves wondering if i should bother.. do u ask for reasons why this stuff is turned back..

When I use the term "I think," that's exactly what I mean. I am not stating facts. And when I say "turned away," that means it was not allowed into our country.

Sedansa tried to send me a package full of samples for me to try and evaluate. No cartridges. Just starter kits. That was two weeks ago. I never received it. It, too, was turned away by U.S. Customs. You can either have U.S. Customs keep the package or pay to have it returned to shipper.

if u have a broker and all the other necessities in place its very easy to get product into the states. u might of just been an unlucky one with a wrongly marked package that got opened an looked into. unfortunate but im sure this happens more then we know about.

fortress america perhaps.. ??

i still think we ought to know a little more.. surely they say why they have refused entry to the packet.. is e liquid now on a banned substance list.. are the chinese on a banned country list.. your country will soon be running out of goods if it is.. he he..

Ok, now this stuff scares me.

I was seriously considering ordering about $1000 from
.centraltrade.eu/catalog/

To start selling locally to the convience/liquor stores in the area.
But if your saying that this stuff isn't making it into the US... I don't know.

They didn't give you any more detail, surely they must have if it's been turned down multiple times.

I ordered from three different shippers over the last two weeks, and each of them were stopped at U.S. Customs. The shipper never will tell me why. They just blame it on U.S. Customs and say U.S. Customs, duties, related taxes are our responsibility. If I knew what they were doing wrong, I would certainly correct it. Most likely it's ignorance; they think it's a tobacco-related product.

if u are ordering a bulk order like the 1000 dollars u are talking about be ready to get the import tax money out, just hope that who u order from give u an invoice with the prices marked lower then what they are or u will be in for a tax surprise thats the perk of being a seller is being allowed to pay import taxes lol ok well its not really a perk as a pain in the a++

Yeah, wording is HUGE. Never use the word "cigarette" or "nicotine" on the product contents description. I am one for honesty, but at the same time, my addiction to these new toys is forcing me to stay within the gray as it pertains to customs. I do not mind paying full price for the duty taxes at the value of my purchases; I just do not like my products being stopped. So now I think I'm just going to order from the big guys instead of directly from China.

Your right marian, my broker says Electronic Vaporizer and Electronic Vaporizer Parts. These seem to slide right thru customs.

You selected a good broker, Katy. I just checked out your Web site. Very classy! And good prices too. Good luck in your business.

i have no idea why it was turned down an ssent back as for not getting a reason either is kinda weird.

If you ask, your e-mail goes unanswered. So is it weird? No, not particularly. Is it shady, or did the shipper blow it big-time by labeling the package incorrectly and doesn't want to admit it? Probably so.
