Hello, good to be a member at ecf. I have been lurking for a couple of weeks and thought i'd start contributing.
Is there a high sugar content in the 'sweet' flavored e-liquids eg. RY4?

Hi there... A corrollary question: does vaping VG + sweet flavorings raise one's blood sugar? Reason I'm asking is that I am borderline diabetic and on a low-carb diet - the whole point of which is to lower blood sugar levels. Simple experiment: take blood sugar levels before and after a VG vape. If no-one has done it yet, I'll try it in a couple of days... Cheers, Briar.

Thanks Briar, this will be interesting. I seem to have problems with low blood sugar and as soon as I started vaping the problem escalated. I'm thinking analogs have sugar in them and I wasn't getting what I needed when I started vaping. But maybe I have that backward. I'll be interested in hearing what you find out!!!!!

Yeah, let us know matey. The reason I personally asked is that one of my friends is a diabetic and I wanted to know if heavy vaping in his home could feasibly raise his blood sugar levels ie. vape lingering in the ambient air. Or would any sugar be burned off in the atomizing process? Also, I don't want to vape RY4 and put on 100lbs in the process lol

LOL, I'd NEVER thought of that, surely you're not telling me there's calories in vaping? Seriously? Or am I truly being gullible here?

Well this is why I would like to know :)
I have had no munch attacks so far since my quit date, but I would hate for that to be countered by calories in vape. I'm probably way off base, but if you don't ask ...

I'll let you know in two days, guys. It needs to be done first thing in the morning before breakfast, for best results, and I'd like to run the test twice, at least. Too late today already. Sheesh, I *hate* waiting for my breakfast, but anything for the vaping cause! :)

Cheers,
Briar.

Thanks Briar, I'm really curious to know. I know I've been having fits with my low sugar since I've started vaping. But that's not saying it's the vaping that's doing it, still, I'm curious to see what you find out!
