thanks for your good wishes and prayers for my son, John.

I think it is working,
he is slightly improved,
last week he was knocking at death's door,
now, that door is closed.
he is assured of recovery,
but will be long and slow,
probably more than a month or 2.

who cares how long......
we are hoping to get him off the ventilator tomorrow,
if he can breathe strongly by himself,
that will be a huge step forward.
cross your fingers.....

I am away from home, so I can be with him
in hospital, ICU.

if it all goes well,
I will post next Sunday night.
