hello all.

I just upgraded my ecig from a ego to a Vamo V5. I ordered a Hypertank along with the Vamo, mainly because I wanted a tank that'll match size and color wise (i got the black chrome Vamo and Hypertank, it looks sick) and to have a bigger tank in general. This tank has pretty decent flavor and the hits are nice and smooth, so far I'm a fan. But eventually I want to upgrade the tank, which I'm reading that the newer airflow control tanks are the hype today, specifically the Kanger Aerotank and the Aspire Nautilus. Anyone try either or both of these? What do you think?

I do not have a vamo, so I can't tell you which tank would look better on that particular mod.

However, I recently bought both the nautilus and the aerotank. Even when using the exact same flavor and after rebuilding the coils in both, I still get much better flavor, throat hit and vapor from the nautilus :) so if you have to choose one, definitely go with the nautilus! Once you try it, you won't regret it :vapor:

I have an Aspire Nautilus mini, as well as a Aerotank mini and mega. The Nautilus Mini is a lot more compliant tank. It takes a lot to make it perform like poo. The Kangers are a little more fiddly to find the right watts (or voltage, depending on your mod and mode), but IMHO, the Aerotank and the Nautilus with BVC (mini or a really new full size) are a dead heat. I'd be loathe to pick an absolute winner between the two, and you'd be happy with either (although the Aerotank Mini is TINY. You may last it a night at the bar, but not an 8 hour shift at work).

I Like Kanger. The guy down the street has the Naughty and there sure aint nothing wrong with it, gives a dam nice hit. I don't think it hits any better than my Mega though. Cost wise the Kanger is a clear winner and getting the stainless tank with it too made the decision easy for me.

I find the Nautilus requires being careful, if you over tighten it (easy to do when putting it back together it can leak a bit and the new BVC coils burns (discolors) one of my types of juice (I'm sure it's just cheap flavoring) but it runs clear in other units.

Oddly I've been using a less than $4, 3.5ml Vivi Nova for the last couple of weeks while my Nautilus sits idle, go figure.
