Thread headline link jumps to last post rather than first "New" post

On mobile Internet (Android) browser the thread headline link has recently started taking me to the last post of the thread rather than the first new post. I have to scroll or page back to read comments that I haven't seen yet.

It's the stock Internet app on Android. It's only been doing it for a week or 2.

Most likely there'll be nothing we can do about it as it boils down to a browser issue which Google will need to address. Do you have the latest version installed?

You can also try installing Chrome or Firefox. As far as I know, those two browsers are working fine with XF.

Chrome does the same thing, which implies the issue is with html tags placement or coding.

Not necessarily. I just fired up Firefox on my "droid" and it works fine and as expected. I'll check the bug reports for XF, but again, I suspect this will boil down to a browser issue that Google will need to address.

This happens on Chrome on a PC, as well.

There is an error in processing the NewIndicator class that is causing this issue.

Same behavior seen in Firefox 30.0 and 33.1
