Threaded atty connector

I noticed the thread where the threads for each atty connector is listed. What I'm hoping someone will do is make a series of connectors with threads on the outside as well - much like most buttons have. It would then be easy to drill a hole and attach your atty connector with a nut to secure it in place. Has anyone done this?

Avid Vapor has one for the 510 like that. Thats the only one I have ever seen.
