Threads on eGo-C Twist shot?

I have two eGo-C Twists both a few months old, two Vivi Novas and some Boge carts. Everything will screw onto one eGo-C just fine, but nothing will screw onto the other. Maybe got cross threaded and messed up the threads?

Is this more common than my Google-fu has revealed? Is there a quick fix? Or do I just need to get a new battery?

Hate to buy a new one because it works fine if you just hold a Vivi Nova there and press the button.
