So, at the suggestion of a friend, I picked up an eGo, a drip tip and some juice. Been using it for about a month off and on to reduce my analog consumption. A few days ago I decided it was time. I've been vaping exclusively for three days now and I feel great. I woke up this morning and my sense of smell is noticeably returning...awesome!

I've been trying to quit , mostly half-..., for maybe five years now. Lozenges, gum, the patch, cinnanmon toothpicks, snus, cold turkey, you name it...no good. vaping is another world entirely. I haven't had one epicose of cigarette insanity since quitting with my eGo. I feel my life changing already.

I'm putting the money i spent on smokes in a jar at the end of every day. When I've got enough...ProVari here I come.

This is so true for so many I think. I don't think there would have been another way for me to quit, but with vaping you don't really feel like you did! I knew the day I took a first puff of it at the mall, that this was for me! And personally I think vaping should be hailed as a miracle cure for LONG time smokers when all else fails!

Good for you rrayda! I'm sure the sense of smell will only be the first of many surprising benefits you'll discover over the next few months!

Congrats rrayda! It's always nice to see the 1 year and 2 year anniversary posts, but what really lights my fire are the 1 day, 3 day, and 1 week analog free posts such as yours. The exuberance of the "Wow, I'm really pulling this thing off" type comments and the willingness to help others make this a special community in my book. Congrats again!

Congrads, I have been analog free for a month & loving it. Smoked for 48 years & got tired of not being able to breath or do anything physical without getting so tired I couldn't stand up.
Now I can do what ever I want w/o getting tired & feel SOOOOOOOOOOOO much better.
Hang in there as this has really worked for me. Don't even want an analog. NOW if I can just get the wife off those ?><_)(*&" analogs I've got it made.

Later,

thats awesome rrayda, i have a similar sitch, i decided i would try out e-cigs from a 10 analog a day habit, it has been a very smooth transition, cutting down analog consumption to 1-3 if not 0 from the very beginning, and every analog i do smoke is given to me from a friend when i am around them, i haven't bought analogs since purchasing my e-cig, which to me is a victory all on its own
