I began smoking in 2005 when I lived overseas attending an international school. One of the pro's about living in Indonesia (as well as most South East Asian countries) is that foreigners (me) do not get carded as the natives either do not care or cant tell the difference between a 15 year old and a 30 year old. Anyways every weekend us high schoolers would binge drink around the city, bars, clubs, wine bars, and even restaurants. Taxi's were cheap and many had their own drivers. So basically I got to consume horribly large amounts of alcohol and when the night was over have my driver take me home.
After doing this for a month or so I began smoking. I would smoke pack after pack of clove cigarettes. My lung capacity dropped to the point were I could only hold my breath under water for 3 seconds. Worst of all I have been an asthmatic all my life. I had been taken to the emergency room on many occassions as a child due to being around a smoker for more than 5 minutes. In fact, every now and then I would be smoking a cigarette, take a puff from my inhaler and then resume smoking.
After three years of smoking I moved back to the states for college and smoked for another year. I then switched to hookah as it was cheaper, but I pretty much chained smoked while sitting at my home computer (which was most of the day).
Then I randomly started looking into e-cigs and bought my first kit (a kr8081d) and ironically I made the mistake of buying 510 carts so I had to wait three days for an adapter to arrive. Since that adapter made it to my apartment, I have not smoked an analog or a hookah. The hardest times have been those few days waiting on an order to come in. I about killed my mailman for not letting me get my mail containing e-liquid and carts. Since then I have always tried to think ahead, always have back up batteries, juice and carts.
I have just gotten fed up with the Vapor King products. I have gone through four regular batteries, five XL batteries and three USB pass through's. currently I have one working battery, one that died and a pass through that has also quit working. So I am switching over to a mod. The Chuck. It seems like a power house.
Anyways even with the dying batteries and what not I have gathered some knowledge along the way. And at my last Asthma check up my breathing tests revealed that my lung capacity is 130% more efficient than it has been in over three years.
