I forced myself to lay off the Atomic Fireball for a few days and came back to it today. It's incredible!

Anyone here have any experience with either the Cafe Mocha or Cafe Machiatto? I'd like to read your thoughts.

Oh yes... I have the Cafe Machiatto right now and all I can say is OMFG! This is some ghreat stuff. I got 30ml in 24mg. No extra flavor or doublers. The taste is a bit too strong for me but after I cut it down to about 18mg it is simply heaven.

Also what I have found with the Cafe Machiatto is that it's more the coffee flavor you would find in a nice cake product, not necessarily the exact flavor you would get from a coffee drink. Still damn good stuff though.

I got the Cafe Mocha and it is very, very good. You can taste both the coffee and the mocha. It's not something I can vape for too long, but it's a nice treat.

I've tried several coffee flavors from other suppliers and this is the most authentic. Not like a cup of coffee you'd get in a restaurant, but at a gourmet coffee shop.

I am finding the Cafe Mocha to be a great substitute for a tobacco flavor, for me anyway - it has a nice little bite to it. I'm using the 24mg liquid and just started mixing a bit of the doubler in yesterday.

The Cafe Machiatto is also one of my favorites, but has a sweeter, caramel flavor.

Regarding Tasty Vapor's tobacco juice:
...Actually, as the flavor is so strong in the first place...
My goodness, did I get a bad batch! The tobacco nicotine juice and doubler I received a month or so ago tasted like unflavored PG and VG*, respectively (unlike the butter rum doubler I ordered, which is my favorite 0mg pacifier vape). Of course, all the bottles were unlabeled, so I think Geoff was having a bad day and forgot to put in the tobacco flavoring, as well as forgetting the labels.

* In my correspondence with him prior to my order, he said he was disappointed in its vapor production (but was proud of the flavor), so I ordered the doubler in VG to make up for it. I think the vapor is fine, but not the non-existent flavor.

Mistakes happen, but the thing that galls me is (although he seemed upset about the labels) he denied omitting the tobacco flavoring, blamed my tastebuds, and refused to do anything about it. [I soft-pedaled this in my WWV Illustrated Guide, but I'm letting myself vent here.]

I had resolved never to order tobacco flavor from him again, but continue with the other flavors: they taste good and are such a good deal! But your post - and others like it - are causing me to reconsider.

So Tasty Vapor's tobacco juice really does have a detectable flavor?

Sorry to hear you had that kind of experience with the Tobacco, DonDaBoomVape! I definitely got a flavored version...but honestly I can't decide what I think of it. I'm never this indecisive after a whole 1-2 mLs, but I am now.

As for more decided opinions, here are my thoughts on the other two I received...

(All juices were 70/30 PG/VG with 12mg nic.)

Mocha: I tend to drink my coffee black and strong enough to corrode a tanker hull. Still, I was wary of ordering a single Coffee flavor as good coffee tends to have some diversity of flavors underneath it. So I specifically requested a dominant coffee flavor with a hint of the chocolate/creamy flavor, and I got it spot-on.
This tastes like dark roast -- close to a real coffee flavor in my tastes! -- and almost Starbucks-overroasted (i.e. there's a nice bite), but I'm really enjoying it because it's mellowed just enough by the bit of chocolate flavor.
No obvious creaminess that I can detect, but it may be doing a hidden job of evening out the harsher flavor notes, because the whole thing blends together so well.

All in all, a great morning vape, bracing and not sweet.
I agree with pianoguy -- if you mostly vape tobacco, this might be a nice change.

(It didn't play well with the Coke Cherry Zero I started sipping next, though. I'll try drinking that 'water' stuff everyone's always talking about...)

Atomic Fireball: I was intrigued by the raves other people have. I even liked the candies as a kid.
On trying it, though... The liquid is strong, and it's cinnamon with a tiny bit of candy. But it always seems like when I achieve full flavor, I also got an unpleasant twinge -- a downright bitter flavor with the cinnamon? Or perhaps I'm not as much of a cinnamon fan as I thought. It's a one-note flavor, too, or at least the cinnamon dominates anything else (like any "candy" flavor).
Just not for me. I'll have to find someone who loves it more.

Also: Atomic Fireball completely dominates your atomizer. A blowout/overnight vodka soak/hot water rinse/blowout has left the taste still there. I'll try to use complementary flavors in there until the taste is gone, but that's worth noting.

Thank you, Madame! Please let me/us know what your final (or interim) verdict is on the tobacco flavor. I believe what you are saying thus far is that there definitely is a flavor (unlike my experience), but you are not yet sure whether you like it.

Well there certainly seems to be a positive concensus on the Cafe Mocha. I definitely will include it in my next order. I'm really happy with my tobacco flavors (from other suppliers) for my nicotine vaping (also at ~12mg), but I need additional flavors for my 0mg "pacifier" vaping (I like to vape a lot, more than my body craves nicotine). As much as I like Tasty Vapor's Butter Rum, I could use some variety. [BTW, what is the difference between "Butter Rum" and "TV Butter Rum?"]

I also would like a sweet fruit flavor, e.g., Cherry. Anyone have any experience with TV's Cherry liquid? Or would recommend an alternative?

Finally, I have really enjoyed a small sampler of Mint Chocolate Chip from NHaler, but would prefer it at 0mg nicotine, ala an inexpensive Doubler. Earlier in this thread, someone said TV's Mint Chocolate Chip was more minty than chocolatey. I'd prefer the reverse, so I'm considering ordering Chocolate and adding in some potent LorAnn Spearmint I have on hand. Any thoughts?

Thanks all!

Given that Geoff encourages flavor suggestions/input and custom mixes the liquids, you may easily have success simply asking him in the order's Comments to turn up the chocolate flavor and not make it too minty.

(At least, I always take advantage of the chance to nitpick in that text box. :p And indeed, one of the things I asked for was a lighter tobacco flavor. It's definitely a flavorful tobacco nonetheless! I just find myself thinking maybe it needs something else...but I'm not sure.)

As far as I understand it, the 'TV Butter Rum' is his own premium blend while the 'Butter Rum' is a single flavoring.

Oh! And if you haven't tried TV's Blueberry Cheesecake yet, I highly recommend it for a 'dessert' vape. I've been going through a Doubler (50/50 VG/PG) of that flavor incredibly fast because it's my go-to every evening for 0mg chain-vaping. (Much like you, I continue well beyond my need for the nicotine.) I'm impressed at how distinct and rich the individual flavors of blueberry/cheesecake/crust are.
There's another thread here (with 'Blueberry Cheesecake' in the title I think) whose author was equally positive in her review.

Now this bothers me, and what puts me off some of these small one man operations. The name is "Tasty Vapor" and many have said how tasty/strong the juice is, and you had no tastebud problem with the butter rum. If it were me, I would have sent out another bottle and cleared away any doubt.

Sometime ago I ordered a tobacco flavor from a similar vendor and was shocked to find that it had no flavor whatsoever, I emailed them with the news, they wrote back and said we're sorry you don't like our juice..

I emailed them back and said there was nothing to like or dislike about the juice because it was flavorless.....never heard back.

I recently got some Tobacco from TV in 24mg, and it definitely has flavor. As some people have stated, it seemed to me to taste more like a pipe tobacco (I never smoked a pipe, so I'm no expert in that field, as is also the case in countless other fields). It struck me as being kind of buttery on the inhale, and flowery on the exhale. I actually liked the taste better if I didn't inhale. So far it's the only flavor of his that I didn't really care for, but I imagine that is a matter of taste. I have his Cafe Mocha, Cafe Machiatto, Butter Rum (TV version) and Strawberry Cheesecake in my regular rotation.

Thank you all!

It seems I should give Tasty Vapor a second chance (but not on tobacco). If I ever run out of Butter Rum (2011?), I'll try the TV Butter Rum. In the shorter term: Blueberry Cheesecake (I'm alergic to strawberries, probably not chemically relevant for this but some of it may be psychosomatic), Mint Chocolate Chip (tweaked toward the Chocolate), and either of the Cafe's (not sure yet which).

Thanks again, Madame, dgriego, and pianoguy ... and smonomo (for your moral support)!

Funny you would ask this as I posed the question to Geoff just yesterday:

What is the difference between the Butter rum and the TV butter rum, flavor wise?

Butter Rum is just Butter Rum. But TV Butter Rum is Butter Rum, Butter,
Bavarian Creme, Bacardi 151, Caramel and a Dairy flavoring. Quite
different and rather popular.

Yes it does, I have now set aside one atty to use when vaping Atomic Fireball.

To me it tastes just like the candy! I really like it a lot.

I can't keep my pv out of the atomic fireball. I have been vaping it since I first got it weeks ago. And I don't care about the fireball residue in the atty. It gives an extra kick to my subsequent cart refills for awhile. I just love it.

The blueberry cheesecake is great also. And the butter rum tastes like the lifesavers. The doublers are good for nighttime chain vaping.
