I have a Janty stick, and have had nothing but problems, I don't want to go through all of them, but the latest is really bumming me out, and I am almost to the point of just giving up on vaping.

First of all, I bought brand new atomizers, just to make sure it wasn't a problem with them, but my problem I am having now, is that my throat will burn and also my nose, when I am trying to vape. This is like a chemical burn, and the taste of the liquid is really bad, because the burn is so horrible. It does not matter if I use cartridges, or directly drip on the atomizer, although using a cartridge helps a little bit. The menthol flavored juice slightly masks the burning, but all three flavors are having this problem. Menthol, RY4, and Virginia. None of any liquids I've bought have ever tasted anything but like crap or have this burning in my throat and nose, with the latest purchase.

The only time I've ever had a decent vape, was when I first started with an N-joy, until it ended up not working correctly, so I changed to the Janty stick, hoping my luck would be better, but nothing I do has made vaping enjoyable yet. It's very frustrating all the money I've invested into this, yet I am still not able to enjoy it. I think I might be able to learn to put up with the crappy taste of some liquids I've purchased, but this burning problem is something that can't be tolerated at all, and hopefully someone may know if it could be the liquid itself causing this problem. I just hope if that is the case, that I can get my money back on the purchase, and I will once again change to another vendor, and hope for the best, as my wife loses patience with me spending even more money on this dream that still hasn't come true.

There are a few possibilities:

  • You may be alergic to PG. Try VG e-liquid. The last time I researched it, VG-based e-liquid was available from: Cignot, Tasty Vapor (look at both their e-liquid and doublers), Mist-Stix, EliquidPlanet, JuicyLiquid, and, in the UK, iVapour-Elixir. ECOpure (also VG-based) suppliers include Intellicig (UK), Intellicig-USA, Cignot, and SmokeJuice.co.uk. Since then, others probably have started carrying it as well.

  • You may still be tasting the primer on those new attys. Have you tried blowing them out?

  • The atomizer may not be getting enough e-liquid. Put the carts to the side for awhile and just drip. After blowing out the atty, drip 4 drops (on the atty). Thereafter, 3 drops everytime the flavor, vapor, or TH fades (and/or that burning taste creeps in).

  • The nicotine level may be too high for you. I experience something like that when using a higher strength e-liquid than I'm used to.

  • There may be something wrong with the e-liquid. Is it all from the same supplier? Try some juice from another source.

  • There may be something wrong with the Janty Stick (perhaps with the battery connection). After trying at least some of the above solutions, contact your supplier to discuss your problems.
Hope this helps!
