Throat Hit Please...

Please except my apologies but I have been searching for this answer here for 2 hrs!!!

Can you get a good throat hit and flavor with a 0 nic juice? If yes, what ratio on mix? I do not make my own juice. I use 18mg right now.

PG seems to give a stronger throat hit than VG. Also, mint, cinnamon and menthol hits hard. Just my opinion. I use low, 5-6, nic juice or 0 nic. When I want a strong throat hit, I use a mint, chocolate juice. I also use an apple cinnamon juice.

True nicotine throat hit like in cigarettes is, in vaping, the result of nicotine + heat (wattage). PG can enhance throat hit but not cause it. VG can reduce throat hit. Some flavors can 'simulate' it but not actually cause it.

Those flavors that can tend to irritate the throat - pepper, cinnamon, some menthols and the "atomic" flavors can do it. Some say adding PGA can help with the simulated effect. I find the PEG 400 base as quite harsh, so if I were trying to simulate throat hit, for me, I may go with that instead of PG or VG bases.

I tried adding a little Everclear to my juice to increase the TH and it worked. Too good. Maybe I used too much.
