Throat hit sans nicotine?

I want to be able to get a throat hit without nicotine.

I am open to just about anything as long as its legal & safe.

Does anyone have any tried & true methods?

No nicotine = no throat hit. Try a strong menthol.

There are flavors that mimic throat hit, such as menthol, cinnamon, or capsicum/jalapeno.
