Throat Hit without Nicotine

I've got a Vamo, using it with vivi nova tank and various ejuices. I find I get a good satisfying throat hit 18-20mg nicotine. I've never got a decent throat hit of anything less than 18mg
So question is - how to achieve good throat hit with minimal and even no nicotine, I want to wean myself off nicotine, the satisfying throat hit is all I'm really after!!

I am at 2mg right now. I will if I want more throat hit use a menthol in my mix. I use to smoke menthol so for me this works. I also will try higher voltage with lower resistance but that will sometimes give a burnt taste.

I hear cinnamon works too. I feel throat hit with citrus, but both of these will mess with plastic (so I'm told - I read that and keep them away from plastic).

I agree, you can get throat hit from flavors. Menthol, mint, and cinnamon as mentioned, and I even get throat hit from soda flavors (root beer and cherry cola). Also, higher PG in the ratio should up your throat hit.

If you wean very slowly by mixing the next lower level with your current level at various ratios until you are at the next lower level, you seriously won't even notice the change in throat hit until you at some point take a hit from some higher level and it will be too strong for you.
