First of all, I'm not familiar with your method of expressing the nic content of your e-liquid. I'm familiar with the 3mg, 6mg, 12mg, 18mg, and 24mg method.

Are you comparing the nic levels with the same juice? (same flavor and brand?)

Although the nic concentration has the most effect on throat hit, the amount of Pg (propylene glycol) in the Pg/Vg ratio also carries some influence. Are you using the same juice attachment, at the same power level (watts or volts)?

70pg?

PG is the throat hit, VG is the cloudz. Its not bad, just preference as some people like higher VG content others like higher PG content.

If all other variants are the same (ie: same coil, same power level, same pg/vg ratio, same tank, same mod, same everything, only difference is nicotine) then I would attribute the lighter throat hit to lower nicotine.

It's not "bad", its a matter of personal preference. 70/30 would give a lot of throat hit. Some vapers prefer that.

A higher Pg ratio will provide a stronger throat hit than a lower Pg ratio.

Personally I don't like a lot of throat hit, I like a smoother vape. My typical pg/vg ratio is 30/70 or 20/80.

It's not just the PG/VG, flavors can affect throat hit too.
I mixed some juice with dragonfruit flavoring and some unflavored.
Everything except the flavoring was identical and came from the same bottles, the only difference was that the unflavored liquid had extra PG to make up the volume.

The throat hit from the dragonfruit liquid is significantly higher than that of the unflavored, despite the fact that the unflavored technically has more PG.

I like the dragonfruit, but I was very surprised to discover that I REALLY like the unflavored stuff - very smooth.

i recently dropped my nic to 1.5 :) but how come I feel more of a throat hit with the 1.5 nic then I did with the 2 nic and 3?
I keep my settings and liquid the same all the time. I want a good throat hit. A freshly made coil seems to help. I seem to replace mine every couple of weeks. Fresh wicking about twice a week seems to help. A well saturated wick helps. Try continuing to draw for a second after releasing the fire button. Make sure the atomzer is threaded firmly and wire leads are snug.
