First i'd like to say that over all my blu has served me well for the most part. I really like it's size and similarity to analog. I will probably continue to vape blu's or something small and similar on occassion.

My throat hurts when i vape my Blu. The vanilla is worst for me, it makes my throat hurt something fierce (which sucks cuz i liked the taste).

Why?

I am somewhat dehydrated (my spit is kinda frothy or something.... and i have odd muscle aches), i have been trying to stay hydrated though, drinking lots of water; drinking some tea; always drinking soda though (soda, i'm sure dehydrates... if only i could vape caffeine too [can i?]).

I'm probably over doing the vaping... but i'm just trying to stay off them analogs, ya know.

Is it perhaps because these things are all (or mostly) vg? (i've ordered quite a bit of juice from virgin vapors that is all vg, so i hope not; but i do have some comming from myvaporstore (sp?) that isn't all vg.)
[I also ordered some 24mg and 18 mg.... i think i may not be getting enough nic from the blu's. My smoking habit was totally out of control. 2pad was very normal, three wasn't unheard of. I chain smoked often, if i couldn't smoke at work (service work so often i can't or have to wait til' i need something out of truck or lunch or whatever), then the smoking chimney was on and on.]

Some other stuff:
yeah the battery doesn't last long, yeah the cartomizer=thingies don't last very long, yeah i've ordered bigger 'better' pv's, yeah i'm looking forward to using something different, yeah yeah yeah.

But i think the blu is pretty solid... heck it got me off my 2 pack+ a day habit almost completely (more to come on that).

My main problem with my blu is that it is hard for me to inhale..... or maybe i just want to inhale too much, i don't know. I vape some disposable here and there (which usually have a god-awful after taste) and they seem to vape so much easier. I guess my other problem is i don't seem to be getting a lot of vapor. Even fresh battery and new carto and it seems low on vapor (not that i have anything to compare it to really, the disposables seem to have similar amount of vapor).

So two more points and then i'm done:
So i was driving down the road vaping away, enjoying the weather. I caught myself once or twice wanting to ash out the window haha. But unfortunately i did not catch myself throwing the dag-dog-gone thing out the window. Bad habit or a bad habit bit me in the ..... Luckily i had bought two kits originally, so now i have 3 batteries.

Why is it, that i feel silly vaping? I never felt silly smoking a wrecking stick and stinking and all that... but for some reason i have some inherent need to hide my vaping. Like i'm doing something foolish or childish and i don't want to get caught. Weird.

I'm still really new and in no position to be giving anyone any advice. I won't let that stop me though.

I"m using Blu. And I have Volts on the way for what it's worth,

I don't get the dehydration thing. I've heard that mentioned a few times and I don't know why not smoking would make someone less hydrated.

From what I understand the VG is supposed to give less "throat hit" and the PG more. But I might have that backwards. Remember I don't know what I'm talking about. That being said, I have learned to use the Blu a little differently than smoking. Less force on the inhale, slow, steady and hold it in the mouth. That seems to work for me.

Talk about feeling silly. Yes! And I don't know why. I know I'm super excited about stumbling into this whole thing and I love talking about it and looking at stuff and reading here and all that but. But. It still feels .... well embarrassing I guess. Maybe it's the no mistaking it for anything else public admission that Yes. My name is Lisa, and I'm a nicotine addict. It kind of feels like shame. Which is a shame. But there it is.

Okay, i take back nearly every nice thing i've ever said about Blu.

I had a rough going today at not smoking... my Blu was acting up in most every way, this morning's carto was a dud, one of my batteries wasn't taking a charge, another was staying on after i stopped toking on it, i was jone'sing bad for a cigarette. I was at my wits end with this whole ecig thing, about to give up.... i walked out to the mailbox to see if my new device had shown up; and it hadn't, but no shocker there.... it shouldn't be here until next week anyway, was just looking for some thing, anything to keep my mind off smokes. So then i saw on here that there is an ecig store about 45 minutes away. I grabbed my blu and chain vaped all the way there, all the time still wanting more, strugggling.
So i get in the shop about 20 minutes before they close. On their website all they had shown for products were some off brand devices... but i was going to buy one and give it a go, and if it didn't work out i was going to go get cigarettes. Boy was i smack happy when i saw ego-t, ego-c, ego this ego that, vari this and that and ego-twist and some awesome looking e-pipe and WOW WOW WOW WOW. I told the salesman my deal, told him i need an upgrade, told him i need an upgrade bad. He asks upgrade from what, so i tell him the blu and pull the tiny little blu out of my pocket, ridiculously lacking compared to all the beauties in the case. I was totally thinking size isn't everything [women have been lying to me, size does matter haha], totally thinking this was my last hope. He set me up with an ego twist with a clearomizer, he dripped some 24mg juice in it of my choosing.

Then i took my first drag. So scared it was going to burn my throat like the blu; i just took a little puff. This thing, i gotta tell you, it was like the smoothest brandy, or the smoothest anything. He kinda nods, and i take that to mean puff puff puff. I toked on that thing like a 2bit lady of the night needing a fix [sorry for the metaphor but it's all that could possibly fit], i felt that familiar buzz comming on, slower, smoother, perfection... WOW. Best money i ever spent.

Earlier i referred to the guy as a salesman, now i'm telling him i think he saved my life, or at least a few years.
Local service was well worth the premium cost (and it wasn't even that bad really, somewhat comparable to online prices).
For the first time in my adult life i feel confident i won't smoke a cigarette tomorrow.

Don't do the Blu; it's going to come in handy as a social device among non-understanding people (parents, bosses, customers, and what-not), but blu will never get my money again, ever ever ever. Going to drip into the used up blu cartos, and keep them as backup/emergency now.

Just don't do blu if you were a heavy smoker like me, that is all i'm really trying to say.

The Blu works fine for me, as well. I use it every day. I do have 4 batteries that I rotate through the pack, starting out with 4 fully charged batteries every morning.

When you consider the maH rating, the Blu batteries have fabulous charge life. I now also have 2 1000 maH Twists, a 650 Twist, and a couple of 650 maH ego C batteries. The Premium100 Blu battery is 226 maH. I've been testing and comparing the battery life and charge times. My experience - The ego twists and ego c batteries have no better charge life per maH than the Blu. Of course they seem to last longer - they are bigger batteries and hold a bigger initial charge. They also change the form factor drastically because they are bigger and heavier. The Blu pack with it's charging capabilities and size and form factor of the batteries make the transition easier from smoking cigs.

Heck, I've had fun trying all the other stuff, so far. But, realistically, I wouldn't have quit smoking if I had started with those things and truthfully, the muss and fuss of the other systems with the juice and failure rates of the delivery systems/or maintenance of them is cumbersome. I've tested the ego tanks, filling blank cartomizers, the popular Stardusts and the vivi Nova. They all have pros and cons and a higher than desired failure rate. I have yet to test a DCT tank type system or a bottom feeder. Nor have I tested any other brand of the same form factor as the Blu battery.

It's also a good thing I started with the Blu, because they are VG only. Not knowing anything about VG or PG, since I started testing other methods, I've tried some 80/20 and some 50/50 PG/VG juices - Ohhhhhh my, within 24 hrs, I had mouth ulcers. Thought it was a fluke at first. Tried it a couple more times and sure enough, every time I have used the PG juices - mouth ulcers and could barely eat for a couple days afterwards. To my knowledge, Blu is the only vendor to market VG only prefilled cartomizers. If I had started with something that was PG based, I most likely would have freaked out and never tried it again. I think they are really smart to market VG only.
