Sometimes my diy juices cause a throat tickle, mostly those containing vanilla and/or custard. Any suggestions on what I can add to reduce the tickle?
That might be it. At first I thought it was because the juice had more PG (which I still don't like above 35 %) but then tried others with the same percent PG an was not bad so assuming it was a flavor ingredient. Ethyl alcohol... not an issue for me... I was actually taking small shots of vodka (as I often do when vaping other juices) so wouldn't have noticed it at all. I also have Purillum Sweet Tobacco (that I love) and it has a "nutty" flavor but doesn't bother me at all (I assume that is AP) so I am suspecting acetoin myself. The juice that bothered me the most was a "custard" (and had this "butterscotch" flavor) Other custards have not had this issue so still don't know. Some vanillas and custards contain trace amounts of acetoin and/or acetyl propionyl.
