So... Newbie here! Been vaping about 4days now. Picked up a vision spinner.

Please pardon my nomenclature.

I'm having a couple of issues. Seems like my tanks?/Atomizer just aren't right for me. I think in pulling too hard? I'm getting a lot of sputtering while pulling on one of them and the other just not enough vapor.

Both are wicked The one that's sputtering has a small wick on the battery side, the other the wick is longer and is closer to the pulling end (tip?)

I've blown out the sputtering one, still same issue and it seems to leak when I disconnect it from the battery there is a puddle of vape liquid in there. I've replaced the wick piece (wick already installed in the metal housing) it worked well for a while (couple hours) then same issue. I'm wondering if I was pulling too hard? Faulty parts? The wick in the first one seemed to disappear, if that helps.

Issue #2 when do you stop/take a break? On the way to work / way home I vape when I used to smoke. But I never quite feel like I'm done. Whereas with analogs they finished themselves.

I used to smoke a pack a day now I'm on 1.2% nicotine. Still smoking the 4 of the day... after meals and before bed. Hard to tell how much I've been consuming do to the leakage as stated above.

Welcome to the ECF. I'm assuming that the sputtering one is the bottom coil (with the coil close to the battery) and also that this is an EVOD/MT3/ARO type of tank/clearomizer. More info on hte model would help a lot if you have it. It sounds like you are describing gurgling, which is fairly common with these if the coil heads are not tightened down well enough or there is too little wick. Make sure that the coil head is tightened securely in the base and also that the little rubber gasket is present on the top post of the coil head. You may also want to add just a little wick if you have any, otherwise, you may be able to fluff up the wick a little.

Is the weak vapor coming from the top coil clearo? On that one, tilting it to the side and swirling it around may help a lot.

Vaping by nature does not provide the immediate satisfaction that a cigarette does. The nicotine intake occurs over a longer period and more importantly, you are not getting a bunch of other chemicals that are found in cigarettes, some of which you were also addicted to. This will pass. 1.2% (12mg) is a little low to start off with for a PAD smoker. I typically recommend a bottle of 24mg first and then a fairly quick drop to 18mg.

So, do you ever limit yourself to vaping... Like, I'll vape for 5 minutes? Then I'll do it again in 30 minutes?

Okay, run of the mill CE4 type clearos. Yeah they mute flavors a bit, a small bit of liquid in the battery connection is normal with them but, more than about 3 drops is leakage. Easy to fix the leak though, just need a pair of small needle nose pliers or tweezers, take it off the battery, pull GENTLY on the center post of the clearo just pull a tiny bit harder as you go until it move out just a touch. That's all leak should be slowed or stopped. (If the center post does happen to be really loose and come out, just reposition it where it needs to be and vape on.)

As for the rest, with smoking, you get nic by inhaling the smoke into your lungs. Not so with vaping, you get the nic through your mouth, sinuses and, nasal passages. Try a gentle (about half as hard as an analog) 3 second pull into your mouth, then slowly let it out your nose. Do that a few times and see if you notice the difference.

As for finished, yeah, you just have to decide you are done. I counted pulls at first 10 for average and 15 for a real nic fit, then done. Taught myself to listen to my body with vaping and, now I just take what I need and put it down for a while and, don't need to count pulls.

Don't give up, try a few different techniques, different tops for you batteries and, different flavors and nic levels, you'll get it right for you, and in a few months, it will be all you need for nic.

K... So far I like the feel of the spinner except for the power button... But I can deal with that. I'm gonna get another one. I'm looking for a clearotomizer/tank, I'd like something with the same radius as the spinner. And something that'll be fairly robust. I'd like a bottom coil. Any recommendations. I just don't want to have to mess with it while driving, there's nothing worse when getting rid of analogs, and having an issue while driving. Suggestions??

i have found that i keep the 24 mg on hand when i really need a fix, but the 18mg is my go to, all day vape, and i was a pad smoker of marlboro reds for 30 years

Try the kanger evod. Its bottom coil, easy to fill & easy to replace heads. Its not too big or wide, so it shouldn't make your spinner top-heavy. Also, it gives an excellent draw IMO...not too airy or too tight.

So day two of no analogs almost complete... Stopped by a local shop and they stated they had several issues with the clearotomizer I had purchased and gave me two new coils? Seemed that there were some issues with the gasket? Well after a full day of vaping with it, it seems to be working fine.

While I was at the shop I picked up some new flavors @ 18 mL, I'm up to 6 now. 3 @ 12mL, 3 @ 18mL. i can definitely tell the difference. They all mix and match pretty well so I'm having fun with that! I still have to pick up another spinner.

The one thing that takes getting used to is pulling on it less for more of a smoke feel. But now that I'm cognizant of that it'll be a little easier re-learning that. Another thing I like is that you can take a hit or two and put it away. You don't feel like your wasting anything by not smoking the whole thing.
