Tight draw from replacement coils

no but I do know people rebuild them, so that top part should be able to come off, just don't interfere with the bottom part.

if you have a used one you could try opening the used one first

Ok so I pulled the coil and wick out from the bottom because the top piece doesn't come off and it looks like the wick shouldn't be clogging the air hole. So I'm stumped on this :/

gaaaaahh.

the reason I said not to interfere with the bottom is once you open that up it would be a pita to try to put back the existing coil;
of course if you have your own wire you should be able to wrap a new coil.


if the top doesn't come off, it should at least be big enough to look inside and observe whether it's being blocked by stuff

Rebuilding these isn't actually too bad, even with the existing coil, so long as it didn't get mangled coming out. The easiest way is to poke the wicking out, remove the bottom cap and rubber ring, then pull the coil out from the top. This leaves the coil intact.
