I really honestly thought I cleaned up my atty correctly, and that I also figured out the best system for my carts. Well, I was horribly mistaken because my atty make a loud "Pop" and then the vapor burned my throat, which was my original problem. Can't even tell what flavor...

What style carto's are there? I know a few posted, but I'm pretty much paranoid to buy anything for this e-cigarette...

OK
I checked his other post. He bought a standard 510. Yeah, I am bored, lol.

Anyhow, with that model I would only buy the standard 510 carto - not the low resistance.

The best place to buy, IMO, especially for small orders, is LiteCigUSA. $2 shipping and they ship same/next day.

I would get their soft cap BOGE. Box of 5 = $8. I would get 2 boxes.

Also, my personal view is to avoid Bauway.... i have seen several posts that said they thought the quality was sub-par - at best. True or not, not sure. I don't think LiteCig sells that brand anyhow, but in case you look at other sites... i think LiteCig only sells Boge, Joye and SLB...

Cartos don't last forever. They are similar to an atty. They may last weeks or longer - they may last days. You never know.

I guess the difference is they are 5 for $8 where an atty is $8 each.

Personally, i have not had a big issue with them burning out. I think I have a couple that no longer work after about 1.5 months of my EGO. But I also have like 20 of them...

-Doc:

I would not have any problems if they only lasted a week, since I don't even vape too much in a day, and as you said, they're only 8 for a box, instead of 8 for an entire atty.

What's the cap method? I've never heard of this term. I just want to be able to fill up my carto for the day and vape away, then refill it the next day. Are cartos a lot like carts where I'll have to fill them up constantly?

Ok, more commonly referred to as condom method... I was making an attempt (for once in my life) to be more politically correct... LOL.

Cart = about 1.5 analogs before needing to top off...

Carto = about 1/2 pack before needing to refill. (many sites claim 1 pack plus - uhhh no)

No way they should only last a week on average... just rotate them and don't burn them until totally dry...

I have never had trouble with killing attys but can't stand the fact that you have to refill carts so often you may as well drip. I am very sensitive to filler taste too. I suggest the e2 carto. they last a good while and no filler so they are easy to clean and fill. I have seen a few complaints of wicking on them but I use 80-90% vg and chain vape yet I have not had any wicking issues.

Doc- Thank you so much for the help. :) I'm ordering some tonight... but of course I won't get them till Monday since it's the weekend. Oh well, I'm buying an atty just in case today. I can't wait to try the cartos! They sound so much easier and more convenient!

Goldenkobold- I've been looking around for different vapor juice companies, and I need good recommnedations. I'm mostly looking for 16mg nicotine - 0mg nicotine flavors. What company(ies) do you recommend?

Here's a good atomizer where I bought two and they work fine (but seem to produce warmer vapor, which is causing throat and chest pain for me). Litecigusa has other atomizers besides the one in the link below:
LitecigUSA Premium Joye 510 Atomizer

Here are the Boge 510 soft cap blank cartomizers:

You asked how to fill cartos. It's easier for me to tell you to check out one of my three blogs, accessible over at the left under my avatar. The condom method is messier and takes longer than direct dripping into the filler.

Each carto lasts me about an hour, until it needs to be refilled. I vape very often, so I've estimated a carto will last for about 100 drags. The amount of time that a carto will last you is determined by how many drags you take.

Litecigusa.net has liquids, too. You might browse through what he has to see if any appeal to you.

This would correlate to my estimate of 100 drags per carto. I never smoked 1/2 pack of cigs in an hour before (which would be about 100 drags...10 drags x 10 cigs), so why am I dragging that much on these eGos???

I use a regular atty with my reo mini, just for simplicity's sake. With my eGo, I picked up some bauway mega cartomizers.. and I agree with Wyatt. They are crap.

I got a 10 pack for $16. Of the 10, 3 immediately shorted out and burned... 2 tasted like a shoe sole no matter whether or not the rubber cap was in them. The other 5 are decent, but not awesome. Almost no TH, probably due to the vapor travelling through the wet filler all the way up the carto (the carto itself is about as long as a no-filter cigarette).

My next carto purchase will definitely be boge, though my travelling e-cig will always be a box mod. 3ml of juice between refills and 6-8 hours of battery life? YES, PLEASE! Once I have some non-crappy cartos I'll probably load one up with juice and try it on top of the reo mini too just to see how it does.

No problem. Actually, helping you did me a favor. I was getting a bit concerned that Santa may X me off the list. Now, I am somewhat confident of at least a stick of gum under my tree.
