After considerable reading and study, I have finally decided on upgrading my njoy .. it's boiling down to

BLOOG Maxx Fusion Deluxe Starter kit and a pack of Cartos (BloogPlanet) .. or

Riva 510 - Lite Bundle .. (LibertyFlights) and a pack of Boge Cartos ..

Still undecided on flavors .. tried a cherry from UnrealCigs and kinda liked it ..

Help me decide between the two and feel free to recommend some flavors as well from either of these sellers .. I'd like to get the flavors at the same place and save a little shipping ..

I've got to stop procrastinating and I've got to break away from the ECF site .. for a while anyway .. don't know how much time I've spent here, but it's a lot ..

Help a Brother out .. :)

RIVA 510 or 901 - manual, most definitely. Recommend starting out with 24mg liquid and adjusting up or down based on your need. If you like a smooth tobacco flavor, Liberty Flights PG version "Home Counties" is nice.

Thanks .. I did get some 12mg cartos for my NJOY and they seem too lite .. puffing at them too much .. so I thought I'd at least move up to 18mg .. smoked Marlboro Ultra Lights about a pack and a few a day .. and, from what I've read, maybe the VG based juice is considered the safest .. ??

This journey has been a real learning experience ..

I have been using bloog for almost a year and they are great probley the most vapor out of any cig style pv and the flavors are great. They will have there juice line out anytime now and leaford/red will take care of any issues you may have. I had a battery go out on me after two months and they sent me another one b4 i even sent mine back. There blanks work great for other juice vendors and you can use the pre filled for juice when it gets dry i bet i refill mine 10 times or so b4 i throw them out. I would ask a few of the people that use bloog and i dont think you will find any of them looking for other companys. I hope this helps got any other questions just pm me anytime

Don't be afraid to try PG/VG mixes. Both are safe and in spite of what you might have read or heard, allergic reactions are uncommon. Some people don't fully understand the difference between a sensitivity and an allergic reaction. VG is very thick and doesn't always wick well. PG will thin it out and make it wick better.

Get several small sized bottles with both 18 and 24mg and different flavors. I found that finding the right nic strength and the right flavors helped me out a lot! You'll have to experiment with this because only you can determine what will work best for you.

I agree with wv, the Riva is the way for you to go. It has a long battery life between charges and it's a real workhorse! The Riva was my first kit and I accidentally quit smoking with it. True story.

Do not let the eliquid scare mouses turn you away from PG liguid. There are thousands of us who use PG liquid, prefer it and have no issues. It is just as "safe" as VG. Some vapers have had allergic reactions to either PG or VG liquid. Most can vape either. PG seems to provide more flavor and a little better throat hit. VG tends to be a little "duller" in flavor and provides more visible vapor, which has nothing to do with how it feels when you vape it. I vape both.

I would go with the Riva. the 510 generally gives more vapor and 901 has more flavor. I also agree that 24mg is a good starting point. I started my buddie out 18mg UltraPure (from InnoVapor) and a Stick PV w/510 atomizer, that is the closest thing to a real ciggy (taste wise) that I could find over the years. so far he is taking to it OK. Remember, if you get the higher nic levels in the same flavor that you already have, then you can increase or decrease the nic levels without loosing flavor.

I use 6mg as i started with 11mg and it worked for me some need more but you dont want to end up to high. I was a two pac a day smoker marblo lights and anything higher than 11mg was harsh to me just my opinion

You are the very rare exception to what the typical new vaper needs to make the transition. Glad it worked for you, however.

If you go with the Bloog style batt (and that's what I have and the 808 would still be my personal choice and my vote for you), you might also consider the Volt by SmokelessImage. It's the same auto battery (808 and works the same as the Bloog - no primer puff necessary, both are regulated at 3.6 volts) but the volt batts are cheaper. The cartomizers are also the same as Bloog, both are horizontal coil. I think the cartomizers are cheaper as well, not positive though. Their stock is a little low at the moment, but I understand they will be fully stocked with batts and cartomizers by the end of next week and will have juice stocked by the end of the month. Great customer service and fast, cheap shipping. Bloog is good too, it's just nice to have options. Especially cheaper options. :)

ETA: SmokelessImage will have manual batts in as well by the end of the month if that's something that interests you.

The Riva 510 is considered a mini .. ??

I thought he/she was talking about a 510. If they were trying decide between an ego type of pv or a KR808 (bloog) I'd say definitely an ego type whatever brand they want.

If it's a decision between a 510 or a KR808 I'd go with whatever was cheapest. I just can't see spending a huge amount on a mini.
