So I finally got the espresso flavored carto to finish up (got a nasty burned taste worse than any of my carts ever put out!) and I want to fill it with some of my menthol juice (I'm almost out of my Halo Freedom, boo!) Now should I try and clean it out somehow or should i just dump the juice in and hope for the best.

1 What would be the best way to clean out the V4L carto, I've read that boiling isnt good as it damages the filler. Im not sure how to flush it out. I think I recall someone using a syringe to push warm water through it until it runs clear.

2 If I go the 2nd route how long will it take for the menthol flavor to take over? Or will the carto stay "tainted" with espresso flavor if I dont clean it out first. I mean, when I switched carts on the same atty, it wasn't that bad to just muddle through the few hits of combined flavors, will a carto be a similar experience?

Im leaning toward option 2 as I'm feeling lazy, but if the whole cart is gonna taste like crap then I should probably try and clean it first. What do you guys think?

What I did was to take my carto's and then boil them for about 15 minutes, rinse in clean water, then reboil again for 15 minutes.

Afterwards I ran hot water thru them with a syringe (with rubber finger sleeve you find on many pens) and then dried them by taking the syringe/finger sleeve combo and pushing air thru them about 15 strokes or so. Then let them sit overnite to dry.

Worked pretty good and didn't have any residual taste from the previous flavors. Matter of fact, they made them like new and in some cases, better than new.
