I have been vaping for about ten years now. I recently bought an old school style atomizer(Genesis). It brought back a lot of memories. I went through my old vape pile that was out in a shed. I found my old Reo Grand Mini mech sqounker(2011). Lately, I have been digging into the past. Here are some pictures of old school vape products. If you have any, please post them.

Just some random pictures of things from back in the day.

A cartomizer. It's a tube filled with cotton and a coil. You put ejuice in the cotton and add a drip tip.

ProVari first regulated device(to my knowledge). You could increase the Voltage up or down.

Don't forget about the Darwin from Evolv. They were released a few months apart from each other (dunnoh which came first), the ProVari was a VV while the Darwin already had VW.

That's the thing. I am not familiar with the Darwin. These pictures are from my experience. Part of the point of making this post is for others(such as your self) can share their perspective and timeline.

 I haven't been at it too long. These look like something I'd expect to find in a cabinet at an antique shop.

That is actually my picture. I found it in my old vape stuff. Those wicks were more of a fad. They were hyped up.

Seemed like a reasonable alternative to mesh at the time. Great brainstorming on the ecf at that time. Seemed like the future of vaping.

The Darwin was great. Nicely sophisticated, you could see the future of vaping in that device. Provari looked like just a regulated mech. Too bad evolve didn't move ahead with devices much.

That's Cool to see some Old Stuff from the Past. And made me take a Sentimental Journey to the back of the Unused Vape Drawer.

Amazing How Far things have come.

I've still got an old taste svd, a few Iclear 30s and a carto tank floating around in my vape gear. Back when I first started vaping it was all 15w max regulated mods and mechs. Things really changed a lot in a few years. I'm starting to feel old.

Can't say as I remember the Darwin though, thing looks more like a digital thermometer or a decibal meter than something for vaping.

Pyrex cartotanks on a black AltSmoke BB and white AltSmoke Silver Bullet. Blue mod is my first Provari. Black Mini Provari with wide base endcap (prevented the PV from falling over and cracking the glass tank). [circa 2012-2013]
