yuup,i tried many different types .the absolute best of them was one that had a green wave on the box ,of course they went out of production shortly after me finding them

ever try rebuilding those !! FMR soldering these new micro boards is easier

Still got 3 of these from a box. The first BDC circa Spring"11?? Terrible, but the cool silicone caps fit in my Boges for flushing with a hypo.

Yeah... I've got about 200+ or so of the CE2 r4.0 and maybe 20 or 30 or the r3.5's in a Box somewhere.

Maybe if I Fall thru an Inter-Dimensional Wormhole and come out in 2011 I could use them? But when I look at what I am using Now, it doesn't seem Likely I will ever Unwrap one again.

my very first serious vape device ... the $100 smiley faced eVic

the shorty stainless smiley tube was a $90 custom after market piece

then this used ProVari put smiley face eVic one step closer to the backup drawer

still have the (still working) smiley faced eVic... and one of the IBTanked Half Ling carto tanks with a box of 50 custom sized half ling cartos.

everything I've ever used or still vape... is no longer made anymore

I liked that evic,looked nice,good screen readout and wasn't just trying to dethrone the provari like the v/zmax. Anything was better than the lavatube i guess.

hgood lord i hated the evic,when it came out the term "game changer" was every other word and everybody jumped on that bandwagon,even the posers .all because you could plug it into your computer
where is it now ?? haven't heard that dam word in a good long time

I used a lot of Mrs. T's and Tasty Vapor.

I think one of the first places I ordered juice from was avid vaper, loved their 555 juice and the 357 atty. Also loved butterscotch from clouds of vapor (cov), which also carried boba bounty. also, like you, bought from mrs t's and tasty vapor

I didn't like carto's. When I did use carto tanks for awhile I used By Leo Sophia's instead.

To me what's worse than using a carto? Using two of them.

As for Evics..... had the original, but after a goodly amount of time, it went to she who made incredible drip tips in Aussie Land.

Then, not so long ago, I got another telescopic Evic Supreme, and I love it! Retro, yep.

The eVic is still around but its a box now, no longer a tube eVic Primo 2.0 with ProCore Aries - Joyetech don't know anything about it but kinda of surprised to see it still around.

I still have 5 working original eVics.

I think I still have one too... (in a junk box someplace). I thought of it as a poor mans DIY device to vape two different liquids with.

Timeline of vaping...let's talk about something that for us rebuilders, changed everything and that was the micro coil and cotton. Before that, you had genesis, but with every other rebuildable, like the reos, kayfuns, etc, and whatever type of dripper that was around, all coils were thin gauge and wrapped around a silica wick. These coils were spaced far apart and were a pain. You took a piece of silica in one hand and coiled around the wick, then you took this coiled wick and attached it to your posts. I hated this and never liked silica , so I kept using my gennys although i did use this method in both my kayfun and reo. This all changed in 2012 or 2013 when superxdrifter came up with the micro coil. One thing he did was use a slightly thicker wire like 28g and wound the coil first around a bit . At first they were contact coils and diameters were smaller and instead of the normal 4 or 5 wraps of regular coils, these coils had many wraps. You needed more wraps and smaller ID's because of the thicker wire because most never went under a certain resistance back then. Another advantage of this micro coil was you could mount it to the posts first, then wick it. This brought an issue however, silica was a pain to thread, so brain storming began and a few options were brought up and cotton was the winner. This forever changed the rebuildable vaping world ....

Yes, using a little straight pin did help alot... I forgot about that...

Wow, didn't know vaping went back 10 yrs. Thought it was more recent 6 maybe 7 ish. Thats cool to see the grandaddy vape stuff.
