So in my years of vaping I've had lots of issues finding a mod that just worked from my first Siegli to my current cuboid is there a tc mod out there that just works? I guess I'm tired of the crap shoot of maybe it'll last maybe it won't. I'm scared to spend 100$ + if it's only gonna last a few months. Any suggestions would be appreciated as the local b&m guys are skewed to their products thanks in advance

If you go with a DNA based mod, Evolv will honor a warranty on it for 1 year. The Lost Vape series, especially the Therion have been very popular around here. Excellent TC performance, and can be extensively customized by eScribe, a Win software package that lets you change just about any setting you can imagine and a monitor to see what's happening in real time. The YiHi mods are also excellent at TC, but I believe the warranty is only for 3 months.

I'm not sure how much I can help, but to clear up what you are looking for so others may offer better help....

As far as a "mod that just works in TC", I have tried TC on 6 different mods and the only one that gives me a vape I like is on the Lavabox DNA200. Everything else seems to be a bit of hit or miss to me. Therefore, I only use one TC set-up and all my other tanks and mods stay with power mode. But I must mention that I have only used factory TC coils and not sure if I will ever try building my own.

Then you say you want a mod the will "last." If you mean "will last" specific to TC, I don't have the experience to help you there. Only thing I can say is the Lavabox I have uses a build in battery, but I bought it because you can buy/replace it. Given an opportunity, I would part with it. If you mean a mod that won't crap out on you, that seems to be a luck of the draw for most mods. There are a plethora of choices right now depending on individual tastes and I believe the odds are pretty good most will have a decent life span.

Vaporized Nomads offer a lifetime warranty on their mods. The VN167 is a DNA200 mod with dual 18650 batteries.
FYI for anyone interested in going this route, the VN167 does not come Vaporized Nomads' lifetime warranty. That's why it's around $100 cheaper than the Boss 3000. The board is still covered by Evolv's 1 year warranty, however.

You can get the lifetime warranty for and extra $56. That's why I said they offer a lifetime warranty.

Thank you all for the suggestions I'm just looking for something that will last longer than two or three months.
It is reassuring that the DNA chips have the warranty. Are the DNA mods that much more sturdy?

Some are, some aren't. I'd suggest finding one you're interested in and researching it. They all have evolv's one year warranty on the board, but the hardware is a different story. Look into the mods themselves to find out if they're prone to hardware issues, and the company you order from to determine whether or not they'll work with you if you do have a problem.

Ohmarchy and Phoenix box mods both carry lifetime warranties the only difference is, Phoenix is lifetime on the box connections inside and a year on lipo pack thru venom.

Ohmarchy carries lifetime on the lipo pack and one year on box and connections.

They are a little pricey but worth every penny and did forget to mention they are dna250.

My current favorite TC mod is the Lost Vape Therion 166 (DNA250 board). It looks great, works great, and feels great in hand. I haven't really heard anyone say anything negative about them. Just an all around excellent mod, well worth the money imo (they can be found for under $130 shipped in the USA).

I'm liking the looks of the therion I'm currently using the boreas rta the 510 connection is ridiculously long I think it's 4.8 mm. Is the 510 on the therion adequate to take that or should I find a different tank? I've been looking at the engine top airflow makes me think it will be less likely to leak lol but who knows?
