Woah. So, big tobacco is gonna create a cigarette that turns people into zombies and brings about the apocalypse. Then, the smokers that became zombies come after us to eat our brains AND our ejuice.

Not cool.

I guess I'll vape my favorite juices now before it's too late.

OK, out of sheer curiousity (which I know will be the end of me - did you know I'm working on a blog called "The Curious Vaper"? of course now that I am an SA, no-one is going to read it, since I'm not allowed on the review forums :D)... as I was saying: out of sheer curiosity, I looked at "that thread".

OMG, the OP is such an obvious two-penny poorly adjusted whiner with the anger management problem. For that matter it was just him and one other lady who apparently has a grudge against GV and never misses an opportunity to bash, who did all the negative talking anyways. And quite a lot of people who were positive - and lots of them were not even on this forum.

So. Silly whiners against GV, polite and experienced people supporting GV. Not a bad balance. :)

The only gripe I have, and this is not exclusive to Gotvapes by ANY means, is the abysmal quality control on vaping products.

I have tried so many juices from different vendors at different times, and I swear the liquid itself changes. One time it's as thin as water, the next it's too thick to draw from a syringe. One time it barely tastes like anything, the next it tastes completely different.

Not to mention the equipment... I have around a 70% success rating with hardware.

Batteries come with small defects, cartomizers don't work unless you mod them, clearomizers are horrible unless you mod them, some cartomizers give hot delicious vapor, some clearomizers give weak, tight draw vapor.

The experience with each product I have is a whole new one. I can tell which Fluxomizer is which specifically by giving it a go. If it produces good vapor with throat hit and no leaks, it's the one that I had Rob's Blackjack with my first order and now has Dewy Fruit. If it is prone to leaking and feels like sucking out of a straw, it's the one that I filled with 80% VG Cheesecake and is now filled with Raspberry.

I know it's not any one person's fault, but damn I just wish I could get something and just know it's going to work. Instead of playing roulette and hoping for the best in my current order.

This is not exclusive to vaping equipment. It is the way it is with most products today. I live 40 miles round trip from nearest store and am constantly taking items back because once I get them home they do not work. Things are not made well or made to last anymore. That is why I appreciate GV ...i have read enough to see how they try to change things for the better and come out with new and better versions

I think you should try a vivi nova. You may surprised. It works perfectly out of the box and keeps on working. A great vape everytime

Just an interesting side note. I don't know how long some of you have been on ECF but did you know that the FLüXomizer is, of sorts, the grandaddy of the Nova and for all other clearo products in general? I said this to point out that we are still in a very very young evolving industry and what is also evolving with that is the manufacturer learning about western style QC. IN China you can get great products with good QC, IF they are managed by western interests. They are only now learning the hard way that cheating here and there to save a dime, in the long run (or short for that matter), COSTS money.

Case in point: a year ago we got a cool lil' VV ego pass through that worked wonderfully until you used it a few too many times and the connector wonked out on the pass through. Upon further examination we found they had used a tiny disk, thinner than a dime for their connector and it easily dislodged. They probably bought these in a lot where they saved 10 bucks for a lot of 1000 over a better unit but to the Chinese, they almost make a sport of "how low can we get this" (in price). The result: they tarnished the reputation of a product with alot of potential, we stopped buying it and all over the fact that they didn't want to spend a few pennies more for that part of its assembly. They are learnign though and there are some companies there, wholly managed by their own nationals that are startign to produce more consistent quality. In the lets-give-them-a-break category also remember that they cannot afford and do not have (most of them) automated factory machinery which would greatly help in production, especially in quality.

there is small ones but nothing that can be mass produced, the costs of doing so are so outrageous in every aspect that it becomes so much cheaper to send everyting to china, have it made their, packaged their, sold back to us and then resold once again, that is still cheaper then doing a factory here to mass produce, blame american politicans on that one.

Ill give you another example, I am big into natural dog treats becuase of treats form overseas that almost killed 2 of my dogs and damaged one. So i made some contacts with some big time shops that get the best treats, but the prices are many times more, so a bag i used to pay for that was overseas was 18.99 a pound, but the one made here cost 3 times that for the same pound and obviously a better product all around but there isnt much of it and its limited., I then dug deeper and found out its cheaper to kill the poultry here, box it up in mass, send it to china, have it produced over there, repacked over there, sent back in mass to the usa then resent out to distributors to resell then it is to bother and produce it here

What a sad state our country is in. Spinning out of control. Makes you want to take a big toke of a flavor you hate. And then do it again.

This is not directly related to the last few posts, but more specifically to the OP. As I'm sure you know, MrOutlaw, I ordered a five pack of vapedudes juice right when I started. I didn't care for then, nor do I care for now after steeping, a single one of them. Here is what is funny/odd/different - I don't "blame" vapedudes for ME not liking THEIR juice. I just haven't liked what I've tried so far. The packaging and shipping was great.

Case in point - I love Orrowheat whole grain bread. I can't get enough of it. I tried Pepperidge Farm whole grain bread and wasn't a big fan. Does that mean its crap bread? HELL NO. It just isn't what I prefer. I disliked the PFarm bread enough that I threw it out and went and bought another loaf of Orrowheat. Still, even to that end, does it mean PFarm is crap?

People have become so damn self centered that they think if they don't like it, something is complete trash. It does amaze me daily how people have become so narrow minded to think that their opinion, which they are entitled to, is everyone's opinion. It seems a lot of people need to get over themselves and realize that their opinion is not fact. There is a reason why those two words have different meanings.

/end rant

Oh, boy, do I know that story. Did the same research. Ended up cooking for my dog, and making my own dog treats. Fortunately or unfortunately, can't do the same with PVs. :D

Blueberries, strawberries and apples - best dog treats. :)

Wow, finally got around to going through that thread. Doesn't make much sense to me. Guess I'm a weirdo, I'd much rather plug the companies I love than bash the ones I don't. I bought alot of other products from alot of other vendors before I more or less settled here. But you don't see me screaming about all the packs of "genuine" ce2s ii got that were cracked through when I received them from so and so. It happens. I may wish with all my parsimonious soul (and I'm a right miserly ginger female dog) that gotvapes were also the cheapest shop online, but I stay for the community and the differences.

I realize that taste is subjective , but just tried vapedudes no bake cake and It's dam good . So i completely understand what your saying. I did have to steep it for about 2 1/2 weeks tho.
