@ShowerHead, I ended up ordering from that site you posted here. I didn't know they were in Germany. Ended up paying for it today. How long did the shipping take before you got your shipment? Just wanting to have a rough estimation on when it will be here.

I usually get it about 6-8 days after ordering. Of course, depends on if they got your order before the weekend.
I'm close to the NY entry point too. It won't take as long as a fasttech shipment at any rate.

Let us know how you like it!

I appreciate it. I paid for it today so I hope they can get it shipped tomorrow. I'm in Florida so I emailed him and asked how long does he think it would take to get to me and he said 7-14 days. We will see. I'll let ya know what I think about it.

Been about long enough, did it arrive?

Yeah I got it yesterday. I built a dual 24g 8 wrap coil on 3mm and threw it on the atty. Put it on the mod and it wasn't recognizing I had a coil in it. It would say no atty. I didn't mess around much with it afterwards cause it was my bedtime. Been building mech mods all day today. Plan on playing with the Ti wire tomorrow.

I tried it on both my RX200s and the RX300 and it said the same thing in both mods. Any ideas on why it was reading it?

Awesome VERY Proven Source for Ti grade 1 (or SS for that matter) in the States is "CreatingUnkamen" out of Missouri. You can find, shop, and order from them on Etsy and get Ti Grade 1 in all Gauges from 12-32.
Jewelry, Jump Rings, Kits, Wire, Beads, Findings by CreatingUnkamen

Been using Ti and above Supplier for about 2 years now and love both. Definitely my personal preferred Vape material. I use SS 316 & 317 as well for both Power and TC but for superior Taste and consistent predictable Performance, Ti is superior in TC (and Yes, SS does "transmute" and/or "skew" Taste). With most modern Mods that have Ti Setting or TCR (set that at around 0.00367 to start and go from there) it is highly rock-steady and provides an awesome mix of perfect warmth, vapor mass, and un-skewed flavor. May just be my opinion and others' may differ or vary and that's cool.
Sure Ti is more "springy" than SS (unless self-annealed or ya pay more for pre-annealed- but,,, Why???) but after using it for a bit, it is truly a Non-Issue and not the "PITA" that some make it out to be. Ya need to clean it by swiping thru an Isopropyl soaked napkin/cloth before wrapping but I have always done that with any Wire and many others do already as well I believe.
Again, I own and use SS and like it for what it is. However, for all listed above and more, Ti takes the Crown here at Ft. Vape.
Kanthal??? No Thanks-No More. Relegated to Absolute Extreme Armageddon-esque Emergency ONLY Duty.
Anyways, hope that Source Info helps the OP and others as well as the Ti Testimonial. Give it a whirl and remember it is a tad different to coil with at first. Once you get past that initial "bump", what follows will be well worth it and be glad ya took the leap.

Regardless,,,, Vape On & Enjoy!

Thanks for the info! I got some from Germany. Took like 10 days to get here. Next time I order some I will try the source you mentioned.

Do people build regular old single strand coils with Ti and/or do they build coils such as claptons, aliens and staggered fused claptons?

I do, single strand 24 gauge spaced coils. I have tried a lot of fancy coil builds & find the increase in performance, If any, isn't worth the hassle of building the fancy coils :(
You should never dry burn or glow red hot with Ti! It can produce harmful white residue at about 1800 degrees! This should never be an issue if you don't glow the coils red & use TC vaping :)

Hey guys, so I'm having an issue with this Ti wire. I'm building a dual coil 24g 10 wraps over 3mm. On my 521 tab it comes in at .16. I put it on my RX200 and the mod says no atty found. I put it back on the 521 it reads .16. I put it on the RX300 and reads no atty found. Again, put it back on the 521 and reads .16. Those are the only mods I have other than mechs. Why would it read on the 521 but on both the Wismec devices the are not reading resistance? Is it the Wismec 510's? Some insight on what the reason could be would be appreciate it.

I don't think the tab is wrong. I put the Mason on the tab and it reads the same .35 as the RX200s reading the same.

That's not Ti in the Mason. That's 10 wraps 22g SS on a 4mm. I know it says it's in Ti TC mode. I didn't change the mode back to SS when I threw the Mason on the 200s.

I just wrapped 6 wraps of 24g Ti on a 3mm coming in at .11 on the tab, same as what you said with the same coils. I put it on the 300...nothing. Put it on the 200s...nothing. I'm afraid it's the 510 on the Wismec devices. 2 different coils on the tab reading correct and on both Wismec devices I have nothing. It will fire on the tab but reads no atty on the mods.

Something Definitely "Off"....
Per Steam Engine, Dual 10 wrap 24ga Ti should yield .16 ohm
It would take Dual 23 wrap to get to .35

Simple single Strand Ti slightly spaced Coils are all you need. As said prev, No need at all to get "fancy" with Ti. It's awesome in plain & simple old-school designed Coil(s).

Possible the Wismecs are reading it as too low for the Mods Limit for TC? My normal Ti Builds are typically Single Coil, 26ga 8/7 wrap on a 2.38mm Bit (expands slightly to about 2.40-2.42mm) slightly spaced w/@ 8mm in total Leg length. Those yield right at 0.38 ohm. Quite Tasty indeed.

Like I mentioned in my last comment the .35 is SS coils. I didn't switch the mod back to SS TC mode. The Ti coil I wrapped was 24g 6 wraps on 3mm coming in at .11 but not reading on the mods.

Yep. I'd say you need to increase the number of Wraps on the Ti getting up over 0.20
Probably twitching the Lower Limits of TC your Mods will allow leading to the Atties not being "recognized". If will fit, try going to a 8/7 using the 3mm mandrel. Tighten your Spacing up (down to about half the gap size as pictured in your SS Coils) and it should help the increased number of Wraps to fit easily. Also, tighter spacing does make for better Flavor and Vapor Mass. Conversely, "squashed" tight Ti Coils are no bueno. Typical Rule of thumb for Ti is no more than a Wire width between each Wrap. Personally I like a tad less than that.
